If youre weighing between an internal SSD or external SSD for your PS5, spend the extra $ and get this. Internal is the way to go, not only do you now have more storage for games... Games can be played right off the SSD. Unlike the external SSD, where games would need to be transferred.

Good drive, a heatsink is recommended if you are a using it for photo and video work as it gets toasty in a laptop chassis. Mine came with latest firmware.

I wanted to get the newest Samsung evo 990 pro, but my board does T support pci 5. So I got the 980 pro instead. I have a few 980 pros in my gigabyte z590 aorus ultra and can’t complain. Boot up speeds are awesome, gaming performance is also amazing. Can’t complain and I got this 2tb drive on sale I paid 289 with taxes for my 1tb almost a year and a half ago. This one was 195 with taxes. Very happy!

I love this SSD! It works so well for my PS5. It has noticably increased my systems performance in all areas. I used to see minor pauses with some games but thats no longer an issue since Ive installed the SSD. When playing games it feels so much more fluent and 100% more stable in every aspect. This is the only product Ive ever written a review for and thats because this SSD is so great. I have no issues once so ever. It shipped and arrived overnight. Upon opening the package I was impressed by the amount of detail put into the SSD. It looks sleek and very attractive. Knowing that it would go inside my PS5 didnt bother me because I knew it would perform better than it looked and that it does. It has a amazing 2 TB of storage so theres no need to worry about space.
