> 3 dayClone of my old drive took a over an hors, but only because it was over a slow USB port. My 8th Gen Core-I7 machine used to take 45-60 seconds to boot. I now have a login screen in under 10 seconds from a cold boot.

> 3 dayFYI if Running Intel 10th Gen Processors this will not run at its full speed potential. You need an 11th gen Intel chip or newer to take full advantage of PCI-4.0 NvME slot (which this chip is really designed for) Also recommend downloading the Samsung Magician app to install and optimize this drive.

> 3 dayIn total, I have three of these now. Two are in Z690 motherboards (one with an i7-13600K and another with an i5-12600K) and the other is in a Z390 (i5-9600K). For the i7 machine, the SSD is in the M.2 slot connected to the CPU directly and for the i5, its connected via the chipset. After running Crystal Disk Mark a couple of times there is no performance difference (indiscernible or otherwise) between the drive connected to the CPU directly (with the i7) and the drive connected to the chipset (with the i5). Both get close to 7GB/sec read times. Write times are about 4.5GB/sec, which is way faster than anything I need. Even though Im not totally blown away by their performance, theyre still very good SSDs.

> 3 dayNormally this NVME is about 350 dollars but I was able to grab it on sale for 150 dollars. Using it for storing games, I am impressed how fast the load times are. Going from a HDD to this reduces loading times between 50-75% (only tested Doom Eternal and GTA V for these). Make sure your motherboard has at least a Gen 4 M.2 drive, otherwise you wont get the full potential of the incredible read/write speeds. For the price point I paid, definitely dont wait to upgrade.

> 3 dayI have a first gen PS5 and at 1 TB of space I was already hitting the limit with Gran Turisimo, Cyberpunk, and the Last of us II. I was getting to limitations of the drive.

> 3 dayI trust samsung drives more than any other. Ive had solid state media from other brands die after a year. Sabrient rocket Gen 4 died in 8 months. SanDisk drive died after a year. I have 8 samsung drives and my oldest is a boot drive Ive had for 9 years its still fine. I have almost a dozen micro sd cards from Samsung, none have ever given me problems. I have 6 SanDisk micro sd cards. One died after 2 years. Also these drives are crazy fast, and prices have gotten pretty great recently.
