Greater than one weekSo I purchased the 500GB knowing it’s not gonna be optimal for gaming. That’s okay I plan to also put in a larger SSD in the future alongside this one. I got this solely to boot the OS on my PC and since I have done it this way it has gone soooo much quicker. It’s working great I have no issues with it and mine does not run hot, however my motherboard came with a heat sink for these SSDs. That being said for fifty bucks for the 500GB one is great. And If you’re gonna pop them in a laptop I also think that it’s a viable option.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, thank you Allen in customer service for sending the 2nd SSD with great customer service and sending it with 2 day shipping. Secondly, I have a AsRock B450M pro4 and it is not recognizing the ssd at all. Either on the ultra ssd slot or the sata slot. Not sure what is happening.. I downloaded the magician like it asked, still not recognizing. Messed with the bios and still nothing. The only thing I have not done is bolt it down. I didn’t have a m.2 screw not could I find one in any local store. So tomorrow I am receiving a m.2 kit to see if having it bolted down actually makes a difference even though I used electrical tape to keep it down. I couldn’t download the drivers it needs because my computer says it just doesn’t exist. I will keep this up to date with my issue in case anyone else has this issue.

> 3 dayI bought one of these Samsung 1TB sticks about a year ago, and BAMM!! My laptops read and write times got 6 times faster than the SATA SSD I was running... Windows loaded in mere seconds, vs. a minute... It doesnt sound like much, but as I advance in age toward my 60th year, A MINUTE IS A MINUTE SAVED...

> 3 dayThe product itself worked fine but started failing within Samsungs stated warranty period of 3 years or 100TB written. I have been back and forth with both Amazon and Samsung half a dozen times. Samsung always pushes me back at Amazon.Amazon does not have any processes for handling any kind of return on a purchase older than 1 year.
