A amazing vacuum ! if i could rate 100 stars i would ! i was iffy on getting it because the reviews about the battery life but i was able to vacuum 3 bedrooms , a staircase & my hallway with one bar left ! it was on mid the whole time so that could be why it lasted me longer but it still did a great job on sucking everything up !

Suction is great, design is great, with the suction tube at the bottom it allows you to get under small objects like a chair or couch with ease However I believe the head it comes with works best with carpet and not too great on hard floors, I have about half and half in my home, so I purchased the soft action brush and it is AMAZING on hard floors

I have lupus with mobility issues. My husband and son have no clue how to (as my grandmother used to say) run the sweeper. (Actually, thats not quite true - my son knows how and actually does it unprompted from time to time, but its mostly up to me). If you are pressed for time, this Samsung is what you want for shag carpets/fluffy rugs/anything with a lot of nap. The ELLGEE cordless vacs are amazing, but shag is their kryptonite. Skip the big brand. If you get one free, take it, but otherwise, thumbs down. Anyhow, my love of the right tool for the right job is no secret, and vacuums are no exception. I have gone through several kinds/brands since I started having trouble pushing things around - sometimes because they were unsuited to their intended purpose for anyone (gross bagless ones that required me to stick my hand into the yucko in order to clean the basket), sometimes because they couldnt handle my hair, let alone my cats hair, sometimes because they died after one use, and sometimes because even though I had loved them and they were solid reliable working class heroes this old bag of crunchy bones could no longer stand the pain. Putting my last upright on the sidewalk with a Free - Works GREAT sticky hurt my heart. What didnt hurt my heart was putting a D*son V6 out right next to it. Thing was fine as long as you didnt need it to pick up anything heavier or bigger than floor cheerios. Pellet cat litter was a nope for that one. I kept the V7 and still have it. But I use it only in the back hall where the catbox lives and use it to clean cat hair off the bathroom floor because it has all the nicest attachments for tight places. Its useless on carpets and scatters pretty much everything you can think of on hard floors. I put it together from a refurb deal on the head and various parts on various sites. The big brand killer was an EllGee that is phenomenal on hard floors but a bit overzealous on carpet. By overzealous, I mean it tries to pull the rug up off the floor, chokes itself out, then dies from lack of oxygen. Cleaning carpet nap out of the intake port is a pain I never thought Id be willing to endure, but I figured out that this was why Id gotten these refurbs so cheaply. You think theyre dead, but they arent. Theyve shut themselves down because they need to be cleaned in places its up to you to figure out how to access. NGL, the ELLGEEs are monsters. But the pain/clean ratio, while better than the big name brand, is still a tough one, especially at their price point. Which brings us to the Samsung. Right up front: you may not like how you empty it. You take the catch bin off and dump it. If you want to, you can also take off the mesh filter. I like this. I dump it, wipe it down, and its like having a new vacuum every time I use it. Beyond that, it gets all of the dirt out of my carpet without blocking its own intake - the dirt goes and stays where its easy to get rid of. You arent prodding your vacuums unknown places with a chopstick trying to get it to breathe so it can start. In this way, it is more like the D*son, which only rarely blocks itself. However, the Samsung is lighter than both. It has a long wand (the ELLGEE is adjustable, and the D*son is kind of a backbreaker at my height - 55) that makes it possible to reach under the furniture all the way to the wall. Its also less expensive new than either of my other cordless vacuums was refurbished. If the idea of taking your vacuum apart to dump it bothers you and you dont have (shag) carpets, the ELLGEE is excellent. Best in class. If you have shag carpets/rugs, this Samsung is the best of the three.

Cons: #1. Has a battery capacity of 1.8Ah vs. 4.0Ah analogues #2. Does not have a small round brush #3. It takes 3 hands and 30 seconds to empty the tank vs. 10 seconds of analogues #4. Bulky battery charger for desktop setup Pros: #1. Runs much quieter than analogues #2. More maneuverable brush than analogs All in all Samsung is suitable for use in a small area

This vacuum gets the job done. It wouldve been perfect if the canister wasnt so cumbersome. Its not as simple as prior vacuum canisters. Its especially hard if you have arthritis.

The pros: This vacuum is super lightweight and maneuvers effortlessly around furniture and underneath hard-to-reach places. I am impressed! The suction is great on the Max setting. Also love how easy it is to attach/detach different heads for different uses, such as the crevice tool. The cons: Unfortunately, we tend to use the max setting most of the time to get sufficient suction strength, yet the max setting lasts us probably 15 minutes or less on the smaller size battery that came with the vacuum from this purchase - not enough time to clean the house. We waited for a deal to pop up on another battery and realized that theres a slightly larger one that comes with the Jet 90 model, which also fits the 75. Since we ordered that and started using the bigger battery, weve had sufficient power to clean most of the house on one charge. I would recommend getting two batteries like we have to make sure you never run out. This brings me to another downside of this vacuum - they sell parts separately, such as the battery and other head attachments, at a very steep premium price. For example, the soft action brush head for getting at hardwood floors costs $99 last time I checked. I wish they would just include all the attachments you need in all of their packages since these vacuums are already at a premium price anyways. Overall, we are keeping our vacuum as it definitely gets the job done on the max suction setting, and we love how light weight it is and easy to maneuver. Its well designed, but we wish they would just ship you two batteries and all the attachments you need right from the get-go instead of making it so you have to go back and purchase things separately... hope this helps!
