Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

This SS drive has performed as advertised. It was easy to install and format. The drive is fast. Have not had any problems since installing it.

Ive used Samsung SSDs for years now and have yet to have any issues. This is probably my 10th Samsung SSD and Ive used them in desktops, laptops and even a server. I refuse to use a computer without a SSD. First thing I do when buying a new computer now, is swap the HDD with a SSD and install a clean copy of windows. Takes about 10 minutes to install windows 10 from a USB drive. Love the speed, especially when video editing. Highly recommend!

My laptop used to run super slow and now it is so much faster. It was very very simple to install and we just needed a small screwdriver to do everything. Thank you for making my computer so much faster and easier to use.

Great! Works very well and has made my laptop faster. The only problem is that now my computer gives me an error message stating I need to reinstall the original hard drive because it’s been disconnected too long. Also messages about not being able to perform actions in a mobile environment or something like that. This product works great otherwise.

It should have a very good video of how too install the device, but after a good search on YouTube and several tries we finally figured out how to.

This was the 1st of five EVO 860 drives that Ive purchased here. This is a 500 GB and the last two are 1 TB. In each case, I was cloning Seagate or Western-Digital drives and their cloning software worked like a charm, resulting in a SSD that booted instantly. The Samsung software said it cloned successfully but the EVO wouldnt boot. It was only in desperation that I tried Seagates Discwizard and W-Ds Acronis software, and everything went smooth as silk. Now, the Magician software offered by Samsung is a great utility program for the EVO. But their cloning software drove me to tears.

welli had issues getting right connector and brace to add it as a 2nd drive, but i used the items off original drive and started new i didnt have alot of items to save, the load speed is way faster, and a terrabyte is all i need, price was great, great name and brand, so if you want less wait time to load i say buy it

I am not a computer tech guy but this was an easy upgrade. My 6 year old Dell laptop was super slow and now it is super fast. The Samsung data migration software made transferring the old hard-drive via USB easy. The transfer took 1.5 hours and the SSD fit into the laptop perfectly with out an adapter. I will buy another one for my tower soon, I think this will need the adapter to fit in the Hard-drive bay.

Super easy to install. However, it did not recognize the new drive after installation. Customer support was awesome and knowledgable. I was told to go into windows disk management, and format the disk. After this , it worked just fine.

I bought this 1TB Samsung SSD drive after hours and hours of reading reviews and comparing specs for similar drives. I replaced my MacBook Pro original 1TB hard drive with this SSD drive. It made a very big noticeable difference in the overall performance. It is significantly faster to boot up from off as well as from standby. Whereas it took well over 5 minutes to boot up before, ( My laptop was running OS X 10.11 ) now boots up in under a minute.
