> 3 dayI bought this over a year ago when building a new PC. It was the only drive in my PC and windows booted crazy fast. I’ve since upgraded to an M.2 as my boot drive with this one on the side because the 500GB storage capacity, while not small, was still not enough to contain my steam library. This was the first gaming PC I’ve owned and I had upgraded from my old childhood PC with a 5400RPM hard drive and integrated graphics. Needless to say, I was blown away with the speed of this drive. If you want to boot windows at light speed and load Skyrim areas so fast you can’t read the tips, but don’t want to spend outrageous amounts of money on an M.2, this is one of the best drives you can get.

> 3 dayThese disks have always been reliable. I have never had a failure of a Samsung SSD in maybe a decade? It has been a long time...

> 3 dayI bought a PNY SSD to replace in my HP laptop. That didnt work so I bought the Samsung SSD, and now my laptop works 10 times faster! And the best part is, Im not a techy person, know only very basic computer stuff, and it was easy.

> 3 dayI was a bit scared and skeptical about migrating my hard drive to this new SSD. No matter what, I would highly recommend backing up ALL data files to another media. Having done that, I downloaded the Samsung Migration Tool from their website. Using a USB 3.0 to SATA/IDE Hard Drive Adapter, I attached the SSD to my laptop and launched the migration tool. No settings to mess with, just a few clicks, and 1.5 hours later I was ready to swap drives. Startup time went from minutes to 22 seconds! I couldnt be any happier or impressed with this upgrade. Kudos to Samsung!

Greater than one weekThe SSD was faster then any past Hard Drives. Despite the Drive working okay, Samsung did a sloppy job with the Software you can download from there website. The Software wasnt even able to recognize the Drive. If you Buy this, dont waste your drive space by downloading the Samsung Software, just plug the SSD to PC & let your PC recognize it. Despite Samsung a little sloppy this is 1 of the only SSDs most can afford. Its faster then Hard Drives at least.

> 3 daySamsung products are defined by the software quality. Any hardware installation that makes user happy and not feel like an idiot deserves awards

> 3 dayThis is a great drive for VR gaming. VR gaming has been growing for the last couple of years and is about to explode. Those of you that dont own a VR system can still enjoy the speed and stability of this drive. Samsung makes excellent SSDs. The price had dropped about $20 since I bought my latest one. So, SSDs are not that expensive anymore.

> 3 dayMy iMac was purchased in 2013 and was getting very slow. I chose this outside hard drive to avoid tearing the screen apart to install an internal drive. The installation requires this enclosure (SABRENT 2.5-Inch SATA to USB 3.0 Tool-Free External Hard Drive Enclosure) but it was well worth the expense.
