    The speed is critical for me when backing up data in the field. These drives have cut down my transfer times massively. Will be adding more to the kit.

    The password software they are shipping now with the t7 in July of 2021 does not work I had to go back and use the software from the T5 Im not sure of the exact version number but Im pretty sure contains 1. 6. 74 I hope they fix this I spent several days troubleshooting it its an amazing Drive much faster than the T5

    I barely ever write negative reviews unless I see an absolute need to, but with anything technology I try to write reviews to give the next customer a heads up. I love Samsung products and swear by them BUT this one came OPENED & USED which is never good (the Amazon packaging was sealed so I dont believe this to be an Amazon issue instead a Samsung one) I connected the device to my Mac and it indeed had been used because it already had over 40gb used on it. With how easily things can be hacked now a days it bothered me to know there was prior customers data on what was supposed to be a BRAND NEW item as per the description of the item. Will update if seller contacts me and offers to replace with an actual BRAND NEW item

    I bought this so I can store all my pictures in one place. And it works great for that. What I did not expect is that it is lightning fast! Im using it on a two year old MacBook Pro and I cant tell the difference in response time for items stored on MacBook internal storage vs. the ones on the external drive.
