Greater than one weekSmaller than I expected. Faster than I expected. I installed Linux Mint on this drive and use it as my OS instead of loading Windows on my internal SSD. This Samsung drive is super fast through a high speed USB port.

> 3 dayThe wife and I both run the 2TB version connected to our PS5 and we filled it with our old PS4 games to play on our PS5 from the external. Worked like a charm and is extremely fast. Its so tiny, we just tucked it behind our systems.

> 3 dayI bought this to store games on my Xbox series s that wont fit on the internal hard drive. Games made for the series s/x cannot be played off this hard drive so youll need to move them back and forth, I knew that when I bought this. The transfer speeds are excellent, sometimes 2gb+ per second. It only takes a few minutes to transfer a really big game from this to the internal to play. The official 1tb expansion from Microsoft is twice the price. This is a good inexpensive solution if you can live with transferring games back and forth. I always play cuphead while theyre transferring so its all good to me.

> 3 dayVery easy to setup, just plug it in and go. Of course, first you format the drive to fit your computers specifications. For my Mac, I chose APFS. Transfer speeds are very fast, no issues so far. Great choice!

Greater than one weekFirst external hard drive that I have bought for gaming. This SSD is lightning fast and it runs all the games (MW19, Ghosts of Tsushima & God of War) that I want to run as fast as Ive ever been able to play them before. It is a bit expensive but Im glad I paid up. 10/10 would recommend.
