SAMSUNG T5 Portable SSD 1TB - Up to 540MB/s - USB 3.1 External Solid State Drive, Black (MU-PA1T0B/AM)

So I just bought this drive a bit ago. I started using but all of a sudden now whenever I access it the files wont even load. They are there but the drive does not want to load them. It keeps freezing and prevents me from seeing them. When I get my files off of it Im immediately going to refund this product. Dont even buy this, not worth putting files into danger. Buy another drive or make sure that the drive has good reliability which this drive does not.

My T5 I purchased for the BMPCC6KPro and the SSD reads as full when it’s empt. I tried formatting it and swapping out the cord for it, all to no avail. Sad

So far so good, havent had a yet. The write speed could be a little better when it comes to large files like movies. Other than that its good.

I can’t comment on “tech support” because, so far, I haven’t needed any. The Samsung T5 is a fantastic little drive. If you’re in a sutuation where you need your files to be protected from others, the drive can be set up with password protection. I haven’t needed this feature, and although it’s not necessary to set the drive up with this feature, it’s nice to know it’s there. The drive comes pre-formatted to FAT32 but can be re-formatted easily, using Mac OS’s Disk Utility to a Mac compatible read and write format. It’s a quick, tiny, lightweight drive and makes a marvelous storage companion for most modern computing platforms. It’s a beast...but in the nicest way possible.

Theres a reason this ssd is so popular. The 1tb is the best deal. Also the security software doesnt scale to 4k monitors and is microscopic.
