Purchased this Samsung 2TB SSD to use with my Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO. But I was not sure how much recording time a 2TB SSD would have using this switcher. I produce and stream day long events and want to keep the drive switching to a minimum.

It will not detect the drive if you do so. I am now stuck with a useless 1TB which is unreadable on Mojave

SSD is the only way to go. I use this as my backup for my laptop. My laptop also has a Samsung internal drive that I also purchased from Amazon. Because SSDs are much faster than hard drives, transfer of data is lightning fast. If you purchase this, you will join me in never using HDDs again.

These drives have been AWESOME. Faster than the spinning drives. I have only encountered one defect and exchanged it for another the USB cable would not stay connected to the drive. I have purchased 7 of these drives. Great deal.

Its been working just fine so far, as I would expect from anything branded Samsung on it. It came with the two cables as promised, UBC C to C and A to C, which was very important to me as my old computer only has A ports and my new one only has C ports. I formated it in MAC OS Journaled, and its been super fast compared to my old HHD drives. A bit expensive, I must say, but I cant complain.
