Wonderful external SSD. Perfect extension to my Macbook Pro!

This 1TB external SSD is super fast and quite compact, it fits comfortably in your pants pocket. But Samsung goes farther and makes it aesthetically appealing too, with fine workmanship.

beautiful little lightweight drive. Very fast read and write which is great for editing my 4K videos and RAW image files. I recently lost all my photos from a trip to Japan filming winter wildlife, I was storing the clips and images on a new portable drive, I will not name, but has a bright orange rubber protector on it, making it more rugged Well it totally fell apart after 2 months, all files lost. This SSD drive was recommended by a computer expert that writes many of the software programs used today. With basically no moving parts, the SSD has much less chance of failure. Also much lighter for travel then the rugged unit that fell apart after a few months of light use. I actually bought a second Samsung at the same time, the 2T, for double back up and extra storage.

Bought this in May 2021 for my BMPCC4K and now, six months later, the card randomly stops. I have to keep an eye on the screen to make sure its still recording but in a few situations, I was multi-tasking and missed moments. The product support window closed right before it started happening.

Great form factor.

Works great as my photography drive. Processing RAW files in Lightroom via MacBook Pro and having no issues with read or write speed.

Works as expected and reliable so far. No issues or complaints.

Awesome portable ssd! The speed of moving stuff is reliably instantaneous. Plus the 2 tb of storage is great for anything I will throw on it.
