SAMSUNG T5 Portable SSD 1TB - Up to 540MB/s - USB 3.1 External Solid State Drive, Black (MU-PA1T0B/AM)

I have purchased Samsung drives before and they have always performed admirably. This one was no exception. I plugged in the usb cord and it was recognized by Windows immediately. Two thumbs up!!!

Once I reformatted the drive as NTFS, our Asus wireless router found and connected to it without a problem. Its plugged into the routers USB 3.0 port for use as a data backup drive.

Fantastic, fast, safe, easy to use and lots GBs available. Tough to beat.

Pros

All samsung portable SSDs t5 and t7 dont work with big sur. Watch out if you have a MAC

The little Portable SSDs are great except for one thing that they fail to tell you. Yes the are durable, yes they are fast, yes they are high capacity, the red one can hold up to 500 Gb, and the black one up to 1,000 GB/1 Tb. Not magnetic media, so airport scanners shouldnt affect them, but havent taken one through one.

This is my second one. Small, portable, fast at a great price! Ill probably get another soon...
