Ive tried far too many external drives and most were crap and were returned. This was totally different - has high storage capacity, tiny size, ultra fast transfer speeds - just what Ive wanted for years

Just received this ssd plugged it into my pc windows 10 and formatted it to NTFS since I’m using this for storage and not for sharing this way no password needed very quick transfer 39 movies in 6 minutes and over 1000 pictures so very happy with the performance

I bought this external drive to clone an internal drive from an old Macbook Pro (2008). I had hoped I could find a way to use it as a startup disk and boot into an older Mac OS from a new Macbook Pro which in the end was not possible. Instead I use it as the startup disk for the old MBP. In that role it has worked well by having a quicker boot time and the read write speed has made web pages load faster. It also starts Photoshop more quickly and runs faster in that app while also allowing more free storage space than the internal 1TB SATA drive.

This drive works great. Allows me to store backups of my computer and take the data with me.

Works really well with the PS5 and gives identical load times for PS4 games when compared to the PS5s internal SSD. It’s also pretty fast at copying PS5 games for archiving. If your considering paying the extra money for a T7 to be used on the PS5 I’d say save the money and just get a T5 because there isn’t any difference with PS4 load times or copying speeds. It’s also way faster then any external HDD I’ve tried on the PS5 with not only loading but the time it takes the PS5 to recognize all the installed games when you plug in the drive. I’ve also noticed that using an external HDD on the PS5 slows down the UI especially while a game is running and using an external SSD completely solves that.

Ordered the 1TB on Black Friday. It came with 32GB of space even though it says it has a 1TB on the physical unit itself. Be careful when buying storage online, even on Amazon, it seems.
