> 3 dayI bought mine almost a year ago and both are running as expected. I’m not a nerd so I have no idea what’s fast and what’s not, but I almost never see a loading window for file transfers.

> 3 dayIll update if it all goes terribly wrong, but so far it kinda seems perfect. Its amazingly small - watching the reviews and seeing pictures didnt prepare me for the little tiny perfect metal item that came out of the box. Fit and finish are top notch.

> 3 dayAfter very poor stability since I bought the drive, it finally gave up the ghost today. It would be irritating in a cheap mechanical drive, but in a $100+ SSD its unforgivable. Never again!

> 3 daySince a long time Samsung customer and especially in regards of computer storage in SSDs, Samsung is a renowned name and they never let their products bring disappointments to its customers. Samsung SSDs are always in the headlines for their top-notch performance, extravagant reliability and promised durability in terms of TBW. This portable SSD by Samsung is super fast, slick, lightweight and more smaller in size than a credit card. The pre-included android to portable ssd USB-C cable provides it a standout amongst its competitors.

> 3 dayBlazingly fast., Increased load times by 30-60% In other words, it generally halves the time it takes for games to load. I HIGHLY recommend the T5s.

> 3 dayI bought the Samsung T5 Portable SSD to back up the 1 TB SSD on my laptop before I reinstalled the operating system. It was very simple to use and got the job done. I am happy with my purchase. However, I learned something important about the transfer speeds. When I was copying from my laptops SSD drive to the T5, the transfer speed was only a few percent of the advertised 540MB/s rate, and it took most of a day to make the transfer. Im assuming thats because the files were fragmented. After I reinstalled the Windows 10 operating system on my laptop, I needed to copy my data back into what was essentially an empty drive, and then I observed a transfer rate of hundreds of MB/s.

> 3 daySSDs are pricey yet but this thing is small for the large amount of storage capacity it has. It transfers fast compared to external hard drives, or (I wont say the name) other external storage devices I have used that are cell phone sized.
