> 24 hourDont buy this thing if you plan to use it for gaming. It constantly crashes everytime you try to do anything and makes your pc do weird things. It might work for you but for me it didnt.

> 24 hourLA MEJOR COMPRA!!!

> 24 hourI got this during a sale for around 75$ and Ive been very happy with the purchase. Its quite portable (small size) and very slim. Just plug and go, no complications. Very fast transfer speeds as well.

> 24 hourUpdated : a deep scan recovery tools was able to do a 27 hour scan and recover the missing data. Turns out the default file system has no journaling enabled therefore it was unable to gracefully recover the data. Highly recommend reformatting after receiving the drive. Since reformatting no data lose between many different mounts and unmounts. Received today, went to test it. Copied files from computer A to Samsung T7 drive, copied files from drive to computer B. Move files from computer b to Samsung drive safe eject and plug into computer A all b files missing. Tried all major data recovery tools files are no longer present lost 3 weeks of research. While I dont need the research, it still not an acceptable loss; if this was family photos, dont destroy your data go another route.

> 24 hourI purchased this to use for recording my PC gameplay directly to it (Nvidia Shadowplay) and Video Editing directly from it. It is very fast and is great for Youtube video editing in Adobe Premier. The only Con I have is the storage size! They say you get what you pay for.. I paid more for the Samsung brand and got less storage. Overall, I would recommend but go a size up from the size you actually need! Does not over heat and it is about the size of a credit card. I am happy with my purchase and may buy a bigger one in future! Blazing fast with large videos and I am using it with a USB 2.0 port on my Optiplex 990 :). Subscribe to “Mista CDawg” on YouTube!

> 24 hourThe Samsung T7 Portable SSD 500GB is perfect for backing up my iMac (Late 2013). My backup of a little over 99GB took about 95 minutes with ExFat format via a usb-A port but when I reformat to APFS format, the same backup took only 75 minutes. I am happy with that performance until I upgrade to an iMac with Thunderbolt 3 speed.
