So far so good. Just using as a backup drive for my music projects. Samsung magician won’t recognize it supposedly because it’s an external drive. Usbc cord doesn’t seem to stay in the pc good so it disconnects and reconnects over and over if the cord isn’t stabilized. Could be my motherboard b450 Msi tomahawk max.

Had to get this drive because I upgraded my phone from a note 9 to a S21 ultra. And, has done away with using the SD card for these phones. They really want you to purchase and online storage like cloud or Dropbox. But once you spend all this money on a phone you dont want to buy a monthly service. So I found this drive to just take my pictures off my phone and can find it if you put them in folders for each month or week if you take many photos and dont to pay for storage that when u try to get your photos you cant get them or find them. And, so you dont fill your memory up on the new phone slowing it down.

I bought it as a SSD for my dash cam in a Tesla Model 3. At least 4 times a week, i get an error message on my cars screen. I have to unplug the SSD from the car USB several times until I no longer get a error message. Disappointed.

Incapable of working with the BMPCC 6k. I wrongly assumed that the T7 generation of SSD would be able to hold up to the Samsung T5. Plain and simple this drive does not work with the BMPCC 6k

, I couldnt check that I didnt recognize the USB type cable because I didnt fasten it tightly. I wish there was no one like me who acted like a fool.

The best. Somehow thinner than the T5 - and super fast. I edit 4k video directly off this drive using only USB 3 - and have had no hiccups. Also like that the cable is longer than what is usually included with these hard drives.

Runs Windows 10. Must I say any more? My Windows To Go installation runs absolutely perfect on this drive. Its also good for low-tier gaming. Only slight gripe I have is that the drive gets quite hot at times, but this is no problem if it is kept in or on a safe space. Great product. Would recommend for the office or low-intensity gaming.

Its form factor and color are appealing, but I have had to rig a holder to try to keep its wire connection just so. Otherwise simply bumping the table is enough to disconnect it

For those wondering, I got a read and write speed of roughly 650mbps on my macbook air 2020 with M1 chip. I think the drive is great, but I do not like having to unbox a box out of a box out of a box out of a box out of... you get the idea. TOO MANY BOXES! Completely unnecessary and wasteful.
