> 3 dayVideographer/Photographer who bought this for use at home editing station transferring .jpg, RAW, and MP4 files for storage and retrieval. This SSD is ok. Its small, lightweight, has decent storage capability. I purchased one back in August and it worked fine for about a month to maybe six weeks. Not particularly fast, but fast enough for me. Randomly started having issues causing my laptop and home desktop to not operate properly. It disconnects and reconnects constantly. And it causes all my other plugged in devices to do the same. Got to a point where I couldnt even eject the thing the correct way without problems. Im seriously disappointed as I spent over $80 on something that has proven to be more of a hassle than a help to me. Recent reviews seem generally mixed. Dont be like me and get this just because its cheaper than the 2TB T5 which is widely reported to be way better. Buyer beware.

> 3 dayI bought it as a SSD for my dash cam in a Tesla Model 3. At least 4 times a week, i get an error message on my cars screen. I have to unplug the SSD from the car USB several times until I no longer get a error message. Disappointed.

> 3 dayThis drive will disconnect randomly and you will lose your files and possibly suffer from corruption.

> 3 dayThis thing is awesome! Super lightweight, can pack in anywhere for traveling, and it doesnt get very warm at all. I use it on my Xbox One S. Load times for my games that I transferred to it were cut drastically. No longer am I the last player to load into a match or fast travel to a mission. My only regret is that I didnt buy the bigger storage version and put all my games on it. Deffinately recommend for any gamer looking to reduce load in times.

Greater than one weekLA MEJOR COMPRA!!!

> 3 dayThis drive is 10x faster than my 12 year old Seagate TimeMachine drive of the same capacity. Its hard to believe after 30 years of Macs just how fast data transfer has become. I remember spending hours backing up my hd to 50 floppies and listening to the grind, grind... Here I have 10,000 times the storage space as this floppies and can carry it in a shirt pocket rather than a shoe box.

05-06-2025I bought this to hold my local copies of my work. The 3 requirements I had are fulfilled by this device: Be fast, Be big enough, And be large enough to find on the table or in my bag.

> 3 dayI was hesitant because of the reviews and this is the first time buying it anyway went really bad. The external SSD gets hot - beyond warm. It will transfer files at 500mbps at most for a few seconds then dives to 40-70 as it heats within seconds it gets worse dropping to 10-20 and Im connected via USB 3.2 Gen 2 I formatted NTFS and exFAT didnt improve it at all.

> 3 dayThis is the third Samsung T-SSD drive that I own. I have been very happy with them and have never had a problem. Yes they do get a little warm if you are running a continuous backup that is going to take a long time, but I guess most drives of this type will. Only way to avoid this would be if they were in a housing with a fan
