I got this after reading some reviews. I had gotten a cheap one at the local hardware store, and this one is so much better. The primary things I like about it are how it attaches, the clips and levers are super easy to manage. It fits well in the hand.

i bought a bunch of sanding blocks recently and this one stands out as the best and its not even close. its great for flat sanding jobs. it fits my hand well and has a decent weight to it. it also is sized so that not sand paper is wasted when using sheets.

The block is well made and the clips for holding sandpaper are easier to use than other types of clips and apparently are tight enough to hold sandpaper. The major problem is that the flat sanding surface of the block is only 2 5/8 by 7 3/4. The 1/3rd sandpaper sheets are 3 5/8 by 9. The block is too narrow for the sandpaper and a total of 1 1/4for both ends of the sandpaper to attach the paper to the block is a very tight fit. Perhaps those who have rated the block with 5 stars dont mind the 1/2 of sandpaper on each side that is useless, or they cut off 3/4 of the sandpaper before attaching to the block

This is a GREAT sanding block. Ive used a few different brands, and this one is the best! Ive used it for hours of sanding wood, and it is very comfortable to hold. It has a very secure mechanism for holding on to the sand paper. It also has a nice weight and feel to it. Yes, this costs more than some sanding blocks - but this one does what it is supposed to do. If you like high quality products - buy this!

SO easy to load with sandpaper and the large size keeps it from flipping out of my hand and giving me the hand cramps the smaller blocks did. Highly recommend.

Way better than the old school sanding blocks that require bending the tabs to attach sandpaper. This block is perfect width for cutting a sheet of sandpaper into 4 equal strips. No waste. Easy to use. Glad I bought it.

This is far better than the rubber thing that held the paper by nails. What an antique that is compared to this one. It holds the paper tight, fits my hand great, easy to load and gives me a little more area to sand with. Very happy with it.
