Why did I wait so long to buy this? It sat on my wish list for at least a year before I purchased it. I LOVE it. Im a wood working hobbyist and like many wood workers I hate the finishing process. This item makes it just a little better. I had been using a typical sanding block and the paper was often loose leading to premature wear and sometimes tears. The old sanding block also had an attachment mechanism that wasted much of the sanding paper surface. The Preppin Weapon alleviates both of these problems meaning less paper changes (yeah!) And as an added bonus, you can load up the weapon with several sheets of paper at one time (say all 4 you get from a typical sheet of sanding paper) and simply tear off the outermost sheet when it wears leaving a fresh one exposed. This means even fewer long stops to change paper. Ive found that my sanding has improved because I am less tempted to stretch a piece of paper too far or stop sanding a piece prematurely when I change paper.

This sanding block works well, is durable and comfortable to use. I like the way the sandpaper clips onto the ends of the block. However, I do wish that they had made it just a bit shorter so there would be just a bit more of the sandpaper under the clip.

Extremely easy to load a sandpaper strip and the handle allows you to apply appropriate pressure to the surface you are sanding.

Does a good job and easy to load

I refinish furniture and bought this sanding block to help in the process. It is great - my hands are not sore, switching out the sandpaper grits is easy. I would definitely buy this again.

I got this after reading some reviews. I had gotten a cheap one at the local hardware store, and this one is so much better. The primary things I like about it are how it attaches, the clips and levers are super easy to manage. It fits well in the hand.

This is an excellent sanding block. It is easy to attach the paper and easy to use. It has an excellent grip and has provided quality service. It is well made.

If you’re like me and think that sanding is the worst part of woodworking, you MUST get this thing For those times with an orbital sander is too aggressive or too big, this is the perfect tool. In the old days, I’d just wrap sandpaper around a wood block, which mostly worked, but it was really uncomfortable and my hand would hurt for days afterward. With this tool, it’s MUCH more comfortable and gives you great control with the sanding The clips hold the sandpaper surprisingly tight. I haven’t had any issues with it coming loose. Yes it’s a little pricey for a block of plastic, but it’s worth it. And you probably haven’t found a better solution have you?

This thing is very expensive and very excellent. I have never had the sand paper slip out of it, not once. Go ahead and splurge on this, you wont regret it. I hope you smile the first time you use it, like I did.
