Ive bought four of these sanding blocks. The are just what I need. Theyll numerous sheets of wet/dry paper and this cotton buffing pads. Theyre easy to load, easy to hold and are weighted perfectly. I only wish they came in more than one size. Please keep making the Preppin Weapon.

Havent done it yet, but I should probably throw out my old sanding blocks to make more space in my toolbox. Ill never go back.

These blocks make the chore of sanding much easier. They hold the sandpaper firmly and are super easy to attach the paper. I purchased multiple colors to have different grits ready to go.

I was hesitant to spend this much on a sanding block. After all, how much difference could it make versus a block of wood or the hard old rubber block Ive used for the last decade and a half? Well, a big difference it turns out. Easy to load paper into, and sands so quickly. Nice weight to hold it flat and make the job easier. I didnt expect it to make such a big difference, but it does. Glad I spent the money!

Easy to use very durable . Great for big areas. Not so for tight spots . Can get paper on pretty easy no sore fingers from other blocks with the nails that holds the sand paper.

I purchased the Preppin Weapon after checking out the sanding blocks available at the big box store, which smelled awful and were poor design or required expensive proprietary sandpaper. Let me say, THANK YOU to all of you who wrote reviews to help with my decision, and for Amazon Prime fast delivery. I have started a large project, painting the interior OAK TRIM and DOORS of our 1950s home, with minimal grain markings. Even with the use of grain fillers, it will require much sanding prep. This block will save time, money, and frustration. It uses standard sheets of sandpaper, which, I can get 4 strips out of a 9x11 sheet of 3M advanced sanding sheets, which seem to last forever in the Preppin Weapon. The front and back edges of the block form a fine fold in the sandpaper and allow for excellent sanding into corners. It is comfortable in my hand, and honestly, sanding is no longer a dreaded chore. Thanks to Amazon for providing easy access to unique and innovative items. Thanks to Time Shaver for this well thought out design. This would also make an awesome gift!

I was not expecting this to fail so quick. I Used this item two times over the last year and on the third used something odd happened. One of the clasps failed and at first I was confused, but on inspection it was obvious that when I rotated the lever to tighten the clamp on the sandpaper it did nothing. Something internal like a cam failed and the unit will not grab the paper at all. sad to see a product fail so quick. I I have to remove the rubber base to pen the unit and fix it, it is useless as you can not fix the unit and re adhere the base. I will avoid a products that prevents me from doing maintain and or repair units. Poor design. Can not recommend.
