> 3 dayBottle is extremely small. I thought I was getting a normal at least 16 oz bottle. This product isn’t worth the time or value to even order. Won’t do this again. Fool me once “shame on you.” Fool me twice “SHAME ON ME”

> 3 dayIt may not be the most surface area per cubic inch. Compared to newer products on the market. But its been time-tested. Its cheaper and easy to use ... No worries about leaching aluminum or other metals.

Greater than one weekFor the average fish tank owner ignorant to basic chemistry, this stuff is magic. For the enthusiast who knows how to at least titrate water parameters, this is your product. Per square inch of de-nitrifying bacteria colonization (internal and external) its the better cost effective product on the market. Plus like most Seachem products I use (Purigen, Phosguard, Cuprisorb); you never have to replace it. Perfect H2O!

> 3 dayPurchased it to help treat the new tank syndrome. It really helps to limit the ammonia level and helps to clear up my cloudy water faster.

> 3 dayI have only had this for a month or two, but after destroying our tanks eco system during an attempt to get rid of snails, it has been amazing. For several months, the ecosystem was struggling to cycle correctly. We lost several fish, one at a time, until this purchase. Since adding the Seachem Matrix, the water is clearer, the fish are more lively and colorful. Overall its a great product and maintenance is easy, just rinse rocks off and reuse.
