I plug it into my computer and it works. Im sure it works fine with a playstation, but I am using it to backup a computer because I thought that would give it more of a workout. I set it up to make a nightly backup and its been working great. The backup is about 800gb and it does an incremental backup every night. Ive had no issues and it it seems fast enough for an external hard drive.

Works perfectly with my ps4. This product allows me to have so many games on my console, it was super easy to set up and configure to my ps4. Probably one of my best purchases ever.

I loved it! Like it was one of the easiest things to do on my PS4. Because I am a computer nerd I was sure I would t have any problem installing, but when I did! It was way easier than I expected. Usually hard drives gives headache to people but using this hard drive was very easy. When I connected with my PS4 a notification “poped” up, after that I went to my notifications and pressed X, all I had to do was to format and then everything was all set. What else you can ask? Easier for everyone to use.

Great item by Segate, works great, its fast and hold your games as if it were internally. my only regret is that Seagate doesnt have a 8TB version of this.
