Great product did exactly what it was suppose too works great

Works on my PS4 with minimal lag.

Short lived starting having to repair constantly. I.E. I would say the ps4 would pop up the drive messages on average 10 times in an hour. This happened all the time from when doing various things on the drive gaming and even basic menu selection. Only had it for a year sucks because it’s outside the warranty period it feels like planned obsolescence.

Colossal amount of storage. We have it hooked up to our WIFI router so we can access it remotely. Works great. Theres a tone of space for videos of the kids and photos too. Im not an expert, but transfer speeds are impressive - but that is going to depend on your hardware. Very high build quality - typical of Seagate. Its surprisingly small and unobtrusive. Very portable.

I got 3 of these drives.... well, the device manager will only recognize one of them at a time even if all 3 are plugged in. The error log in windows regardless of drive or PC/Laptop they are plugged into returns a constant stream of security error messages generating at about 1 fault per second while the drive is connected. So I have 3, 8tb drives, that can only be plugged in 1 at a time because the system cant determine when more than one is plugged in and while any of them are plugged in they generate a non stop log of security error messages until unplugged.... the best part? try to get some support for Seagate, I will wait

This product stopped working and is no longer compatible after using it for 5 months. Seagate does not get back to you either. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this product. total garbage.
