I have been working with leather for over two years, and I have always used beeswax for burnishing, but I am so happy I gave Tokonole a try! The cream is easy to apply, and burnishes to a glossy sheen very quickly! A little bit goes a long way, so I expect this 120g container to last me for a long time. I definitely recommend this product for leathercrafters who want to level-up their burnishing skill! :)

This is in many ways better at finishing edges and flesh sides of leather than gum tragacanth but it does darken leather more than gum trag. I wish I knew this before my first use. Gum tragacanth is more of a true clear finish but it takes in my experience 2 or 3 passes for the finish to compare with tokonole. For edges this is less of an issue but for flesh sides, it becomes more obvious. I still highly recommend it.
