Selamica Porcelain 40oz Large Bowls 9 inch Big Pasta Salad Bowls, Microwave and Oven Safe, Vintage Blue, Set of 6

I have all the Selamica dishware! I have not lost even one despite some very hard set downs on the granite or a bad clash in the sink, there have been several times where I thought OH NO and ended up pleasantly surprised at the durability. I love all the interesting variations in shapes & sizes which is why I finally chose this set. I did get one inferior set which Selamica customer service replaced immediately. But for as much as I ordered more than most was perfect.

Loved these but I returned them for the more practical (boring) white set that matched my dishes.

I hemmed and hawed a good long time before deciding to purchase bowls large enough for a decent-sized portion of pasta or salad. I make what I call hot salads - roasted veggies over farro or similar whole grain (yes, I know, the Instagram set calls these dishes grain bowls), and the bowls that came with my old set were really only big enough for soup, and were too shallow to boot. Id searched for a 20-piece set that skipped the coffee mugs and provided instead a big bowl like this one, a smaller and deeper one (sometimes called an ice cream bowl), a dinner plate and a salad/dessert plate to no avail. Of the few sets I found, the larger hot salad bowl critical to my needs was always either gargantuan or too shallow. I ended up choosing these Selemica blue patterned bowls because at 40 oz and 9 diameter, they promised to be perfect. I also built a collection from the other Selemica offerings and now have a service for six thats very pretty and absolutely perfect for me. The porcelain is fine, the patterns do not look like the chintzy stamped designs often seen on lower price-point dinnerware, and I love that there are six unique patterns. The packaging was top-notch and everything arrived promptly in perfect condition. I cant say enough good things about this meal bowl.

I love mine. The are bright and shiny. I replaced bowls other pasta bowls with these. I wont put them in the dishwasher. We used them and they are great for all things pasta or roast, rice and gravy. I do put a thin layer of a buffer between my bowls to ward off potential impact stress.

These dishes are prettier than the pictures. The patterns are gorgeous and the beautiful glaze really enhances them. They have a very sturdy weight and are a very functional size. More than pleased with this product.

I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect pasta dish and this set is it! Portion size is large, the dishes arent too heavy, they stack together well in the cabinets, and they are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. So happy I chose them.

I love these bowls. They look handmade and theyre very well made. The finishes and the colors are very nice. They have good weight and seem like they will last a long time. Highly recommended!

Use these all the time for pasta, salads, and serving dishes!

They are perfect size for the teenagers we have. They eat everything out of them. I enjoy there colors.
