Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

These cans are great. I love the Sen sound signature and these live up to that and then some. Comes with two cables (a short 3.5mm to 3.5mm and a longer 6.3mm to 3.5mm as well as an adapter from 6.3mm to 3.5mm) and the headphones and thats it. They are comfortable, have a good amount of adjustment, and sound great. Even a friend of mine who never likes any of the other headphones Ive owned because he complains about everything liked the feel and sound of these. Highly recommended.

Really nice cans. They are easily driven by my portable audio devices. Not quite up to my HD650s, but they are 1/2 the price. Great value.

My best pair of headphones by far. The sound quality is just superb. Had them for over a year now and despite me dropping on the ground them daily, they still hold up perfectly. They are very lightweight and great for long term use or bringing them outside of the house with you. I find them to be more stylish than other headphones in the same price range. It has an amazing airy sound stage, but a noticeable lack of bass so it may not be ideal if you listen to bass heavy music. Very comfortable and well worth the money, especially if you wait for a sale which happens a few times during the year.

Beautiful professional looking head phones that you wont be embarrassed to be seen wearing. The leather is certainly a nice touch. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Doesnt feel cheaply made and easily adjusts to accommodate head size. Sound quality is crisp but dont expect strong bass. The inclusion of cables 3m and 1m in length add versatility although even a basic mic would have been nice to have. Ive been using these head phones for about four months now and have not had any issues of any kind and would definitely recommend as a casual user.

These headphones offer exactly what I look for in audio. Fantastic resolution, rhythmic drive, balanced frequencies and fatigue free listening. Works well with iPod/iPhone, but shines through amp. For $130, a steal.
