I like the build quality, lack of electronics in the signal path and the accurate representation of source material. Not designed to boost the bass or high frequencies. They are for Mixing. Good snug fit, sound isolation is superb. Results in hearing the finist details that are difficult to do even if standing next to the artist on stage. Amazing!

This purchase was a gift for our son who avidly pursues music and jazz and produces his own CDs. This was exactly what he was looking for. It arrived timely, in perfect condition, is a great value, and performs beautifully.

Ive used the same pair of Sennheiser studio monitor headphones for nearly 20 years and my son kept borrowing them so I got these and for the price they do a wonderful job. I write music and use these to listen to playback and for general listening to CDs.
