Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO Over-Ear Monitoring Headphones

Ive only ever had cheap headphones, like most people I guess. Reading the reviews I expected quality headphones would blow my mind away immediately. Thats not how it works -- its not *that* big of a difference, but I do hear subtle tones I hadnt heard before and Im aware of the additional warmth and depth to the sound that (my) speakers or cheap headphones dont provide.

Nice sonic isolation very comfortable and cord ia the right length. Audio quality is good but not amazing.

I have used these headphones for mixing at home on DAW software, gaming, watching movies etc. I have also worn these while working outside in slightly rainy conditions and on hot days drenched in sweat. These things are tough and still sound great after years of hard use.

Even at the Amazon discount price, this product has proven to be a disappointment. The sound quality is mediocre. The headphones cannot duplicate the deep basses of even a moderately priced speaker system. The sound is comparable to AM radio.

Good balanced sound. Most headphones nowadays are too focused on bass and its obnoxious especially if you like varied genres of music.

This pair has great noise cancellation, I put low volume and hear all of details very clearly. Its worth it if you can them under 100$ when they are on sale.
