> 24 hourupdate: I have now used this pack four times and the stitching has not come apart, but it it obviously going to soon. It is disappointing because I always take care of my gear and never over fill the pockets. I broke down and bought an Osprey daylite plus. WOW, what a better quality backpack. This is a good pack, I am satisfied with it. This was my third pick before putting out big $$$ for a name brand which I did not want to do. I felt that none of the descriptions really met my needs to spend that kind of money. I had already returned a Teton (could not adjust the straps for my frame, they were too stiff and the chest strap would not tighten enuf). I also returned a Rumpumpak (it would not hold enough and I just didnt like it). But this one: PROS: 1. perfect size for keys, iPhone or gps, extras, lunch, sun screen, bug spray, toilet paper and stuff a small jacket in there too. 2. Bladder compartment has a reflective liner to try to keep the water cool as long as possible. 3. The straps adjust just fine, I am a female, 51, #140. The back does not sway on my back at all and does not seem to tug anywhere. 4. My back sweated some, but it was a 8 mile strenous hike, 95 degrees mostly in the sun. Overall it did well, my shirt was not drenched and i did not feel uncomfortable. Cons: 1. The bladder! Who would use a black or even green bladder is stupid. I would like to see inside to make sure it is clean and no floats. I put this one in the Goodwill and bought a Platypus (a product that I know I can trust). Plus I connected the hose to the bladder and it is WAY TOO DIFFICULT to disconnect. Life it too short. 2. There arent any attachment sites on the outside of the main pack. I fixed this by attaching those gear ties to the two straps on the side. They will work fine if I want to attach my jacket or a towel outside. My trekking poles can go into the mesh pocket and attach at the top with a gear tie. Im all set.

> 24 hourI bought this to replace my old hiking backpack. I don’t use those water bladders anymore because they are hard to clean and you never know when it’s about empty. I like the pockets and the bag is perfect size for a day hike. I am not sure it’s big enough to hold my warm clothes. I wish it had a key hook but the soft pocket on top works well. The backpack does well at distributing the weight and the straps are just ok. The whistle didn’t work but I know how to whistle without even putting my fingers in my mouth. I replaced the chest strap with the one I had for my old bag. Overall I am happy with this bag, it looks nice and is lightweight. I take it everywhere, my sister in law calls it a purse.

> 24 hourHappy enough, but 50 cents of more padding could have made a night and day difference. Not only is the padding really thin but its also the cheapest type of padding that crunches a lot and doesnt really work so well. However the material quality is decent. so Ill keep it I guess.

> 24 hourMy 10 year old son needed a new backpack with hydration bladder for an completely outdoor based wilderness class this year, and this bag came recommended. What I love about this bag: it fits my kiddo well. The smaller size of the bag means that it isn’t bulky or too big for his body. The bag has a couple of zippered compartments. The biggest pouch is the very back, where the water bladder goes. It is lined with the silver material to help keep things cool. Along with lots of ice, I added a couple of cold packs to help in the Texas heat. The back pouch allowed for me to put some lunch items tucked into the spaces that that filled water bag didn’t take up. Note: a lunch bag will not fit in this backpack if you have the water bladder filled. You need to find space within the bag to hold lunch items. The second zipper section is a decent size, and held the rest of the lunch items and a folded rain jacket. The last pocket is smaller, and that is where we kept a small bottle of bug spray, hand sanitizer, extra masks, etc. Overall, the backpack is well made and fits great. Just realize that the holding capacity goes down significantly when the water bladder is in use.

> 24 hourHolds just the right amount of water and has enough pockets to travel with anything you might need. Very useful for music festivals and also for hiking!

> 24 hourThe bag works well, size is just a bit small than I was thinking but does work well. The biggest issue I have is trying to get rid of the plastic/rubber taste and smell of from the water from it. Hoping it goes away with more time.

> 24 hourThis is great, you dont have to take this off your back while you are hiking to take a sip. But there are no directions. And the reason I didnt give it five stars, even though it deserved it, because the seller didnt put any directions in there. I loved the fact that you put the nipple from the hose in your mouth and just suck down as much water as you need. I loved how absolutely cold, on a hot day, this kept everything which made me drink less than when I carried a holster around my waist with two small water bottles. This gives you far more water. The only thing most people wont like is you have to carry it like a backpack.
