Ive had this backpack for an entire year I think or close enough to it. Ive put loads of hiking miles on it and its a great bargain. Ive been looking at more expensive bags and so far I havent even found one I like as well as this one no matter the cost. First the hydration bag is decent. Mouth wide enough to get my hand into to turn inside out and clean and insulated line so it doesnt get hot in summer or freeze during winter. Line does still freeze when youre out there in freezing temps tho but easily overcome by tucking inside clothes. AND, this is what Im NOT seeing in more expensive bags, the area where hydration bag stores is insulated! Yay! Its managed to keep my water cool for 4 hr hikes in very hot summer. Plenty of zipped areas, place for car keys etc. Fits well enough for me to occasionally do a little trail running too but not my preferred bag for that activity.

This is the best hydration backpack. I used it for hiking in Colorado. It was better in many ways than the expensive ones the people I was traveling with had. The bladder is thicker and NO bad taste. It comes apart easily to clean and dries quickly. There is a cover on the mouthpiece- which is a huge plus. The backpack itself is sturdy and fits so much without being huge or bulky. There are many compartments and pockets to organize your things. I would recommend buying a brush to clean the tube. Great purchase!!

Great little pack for day trips. Nice and expandable and can hold a good amount. We typically use it for snacks and extra clothes when we hike. Ive only used the water bladder once, but it worked great. No leaks. Pack is lightweight and comfortable. I wouldnt recommend it for an overnight trip, unless your an extremely light packer. I wont say its undoable, but it would be tight. Especially if youre some place cold and need to pack thick warm stuff. Weve used ours nearly every weekend since purchasing it and so far all the zippers work great, no rips or tears. Seems to be made of good sturdy material. I recommend it, especially for short day trips where you dont want to lug around a big pack!

I saw others complained of a plastic taste to the water from the pouch so i was worried. I soaked the inside of my pouch with a dishwashing detergent pod and hot water for 10 minutes. Then I rinsed it out thoroughly until squeaky clean. Be sure to get it fully out of hose by pulling on the mouthpiece continually so the water flows freely through the hose. My husband didn’t want tall the fuss on his and so just washed with soap and water. Well he said his tasted like a toy from Toys ‘R Us from his childhood. Lol like the inside of an inner tube for the pool. Terrible, especially for a hot day. We hiked 8 miles on a beach and we loved all the features of these bags. My only 2 complaints is that the mouthpiece is difficult to get a serious drink from, it’s ALOT of work to get thirst quenched quickly, so it’s better to really just continually sip while walking. The other complaint is that in sand, the cover for the mouthpiece allows sand to get in. It’s not sealed tight enough. So be sure to put tip of mouthpiece with cover on back into the zippered compartment before putting bag onto the sand. Other than that, the water stayed cold on an 86 degree day for over 6 hours with our drive and hike. Next time I’d put ice into the pouch however to make it ultimately refreshing. All the pockets were so convenient with double zippers. I was able to keep a cold canned zevia soda in the insulated pouch as well and it stayed cold for hours. Really thoroughly pleased. Well worth the money and very comfortable. I’m 5’2” and short waisted with a 32” inseam. But the bag fit me perfectly, didn’t hang awkwardly like other back packs. I was wearing a tank top and by the end of the hike the bag rubbed a little on right arm but nothing to leave a rash.this was the most comfortable back pack I’ve ever worn. It didn’t feel as tho I was carrying 3/4 of a gallon of water at all. I packed my lunch in bag as well and bug spray etc. all in all my by weighed 12lbs fully packed but it was effortless to carry. My husband felt the same way about his bag. Would highly recommend this bag!

We purchased this backpack for a trip to Hawaii and a pre-reserved ticket to a state park in Kauai. We tested the pack the day before the trip and it leaked immediately! We followed the instructions & prepped it exactly as we were instructed. The leaves were in the seal around the bottom attachment for the straw. There was no way to patch it. We ended up having to pack water bottles in the cooler section of the backpack and forego the water bladder. Extremely frustrating! Should’ve listened the the poor reviews.

It’s great for hiking or biking. Plenty of pockets to store first aid kit to snacks.

Another friend used this backpack for the 2023 St. Martin carnival. She used it for water. It came in handy for everyone when we needed water.

Bought this bag to replace a too-big Gregory hiking backpack. I really love the insulated hydration bladder pocket and the included bladder. Easy to use the insulated pocket for something else if I’m using the bag without a bladder. The color is beautiful (I got the rose pink) and the other details - like zippers, buckles, straps, and pockets - on the bag are of good quality. When I’m not using this bag for day hikes or travel, it lives in my car as my emergency pack. I keep emergency essentials in a separate, small case (eg, whistle, hand-crank radio/flashlight, basic first aid kit, multi-tool, headlamp and batteries) and keep a change of clothes, some snacks, and bottled water in the backpack. Easy to swap out items as needed for hiking or whatever. I’ve also used this when out and about with my kid where I need to carry a bunch of stuff. It’s comfortable to wear for long periods of time when fully loaded. This is not an overly large backpack, but it is the perfect size for my uses, real and potential. Overall, well-made, versatile, and handy. And the price is great!

I bought this Camelback knockoff because I needed one to replace a Camelback I had loaned out. This is a superior product at half the price. It seems the manufacturer thought through all the little details. It is light, and small, when the squish straps are in place. It easily expands to a large enough size to carry a jacket, and some food, along with a bike pump, patch kit and tool set. I highly recommend it for biking or for a day pack.

First the good: i loved the size of the backpack. It has a storage area for the water reservoir which is insulated, along with three other zippered area for storing stuff. There are also elastic areas on the side with straps higher up, which is where i stored my walking sticks when not using them. Very light, feels like it will last. What i didnt like: the insulated area created condensation when i placed a chilled water reservoir in that space. It got my back wet as it leaked through. Also, the water bladder itself and drinking tube. The tube has to be screwed in; it doesnt snap. It is slightly difficult to attach. Also, the tube has to be attached to the bladder or else it will leak. The tube also has insulation around it, but it doesnt really keep the water cool.
