> 3 dayPurchased for day hikes on vacation. This was for my youngest daughter who loved the color. Hers had the most storage space of everyone. Room for plenty of snacks and emergency items. Also used as carry on for plane ride. Held all of her electronics and chargers and a sweatshirt bonus we filled it up in the airport for her to drink. Great purchase.

> 3 dayupdate: I have now used this pack four times and the stitching has not come apart, but it it obviously going to soon. It is disappointing because I always take care of my gear and never over fill the pockets. I broke down and bought an Osprey daylite plus. WOW, what a better quality backpack. This is a good pack, I am satisfied with it. This was my third pick before putting out big $$$ for a name brand which I did not want to do. I felt that none of the descriptions really met my needs to spend that kind of money. I had already returned a Teton (could not adjust the straps for my frame, they were too stiff and the chest strap would not tighten enuf). I also returned a Rumpumpak (it would not hold enough and I just didnt like it). But this one: PROS: 1. perfect size for keys, iPhone or gps, extras, lunch, sun screen, bug spray, toilet paper and stuff a small jacket in there too. 2. Bladder compartment has a reflective liner to try to keep the water cool as long as possible. 3. The straps adjust just fine, I am a female, 51, #140. The back does not sway on my back at all and does not seem to tug anywhere. 4. My back sweated some, but it was a 8 mile strenous hike, 95 degrees mostly in the sun. Overall it did well, my shirt was not drenched and i did not feel uncomfortable. Cons: 1. The bladder! Who would use a black or even green bladder is stupid. I would like to see inside to make sure it is clean and no floats. I put this one in the Goodwill and bought a Platypus (a product that I know I can trust). Plus I connected the hose to the bladder and it is WAY TOO DIFFICULT to disconnect. Life it too short. 2. There arent any attachment sites on the outside of the main pack. I fixed this by attaching those gear ties to the two straps on the side. They will work fine if I want to attach my jacket or a towel outside. My trekking poles can go into the mesh pocket and attach at the top with a gear tie. Im all set.

> 3 dayI enjoy this pack. It is easy to fill and the water pouch is removable plus it has velcro straps so you can insert it into a Hiking Back Pack (if the pack can take one). I use this on my day hikes, there are zipper compartments for other necessities and two little net side pouches. The mouth piece is easy to use. I did have to rinse the water pouch with baking soda and water to remove the rubber/plastic taste. Very happy with it.

> 3 dayMy most favorite pack I had for many years was stolen 2 years ago and they do not make them like that anymore, bought and returned so many, the maroon Quest fit the bill the best but was not my happy pack so I continued to browse purchase and return. This Sharmouth is most definately a keeper and will replace my Quest for my long day hikes, they look similar in size in pic but trust me the Sharkmouth is smaller and more compact with more storage, insulated water compartment and water tube. I am finally...happy..not too big, bulky or long, plenty of easy to get to storage, clips and extras. I am 5 foot tall, 125lbs and not big chested but if you are trust me there is plenty of space for your girls, and if you are larger in size in other areas these straps are long to accomodate bigger builds, my search is finally over. Cant wait to put this baby to the real test of usage but I have a feeling it will workout between us :)

> 3 dayI bought this to replace my old hiking backpack. I don’t use those water bladders anymore because they are hard to clean and you never know when it’s about empty. I like the pockets and the bag is perfect size for a day hike. I am not sure it’s big enough to hold my warm clothes. I wish it had a key hook but the soft pocket on top works well. The backpack does well at distributing the weight and the straps are just ok. The whistle didn’t work but I know how to whistle without even putting my fingers in my mouth. I replaced the chest strap with the one I had for my old bag. Overall I am happy with this bag, it looks nice and is lightweight. I take it everywhere, my sister in law calls it a purse.

> 3 dayI got this for work. I fill it in the morning 2/3 of the way with ice and the rest water. Keeps it cold all day and I just add water as needed. It hangs in the engine all day so if we get a call I have it right there. In the pocket I keep a battery and cell charger cable and a couple of snacks. I also throw my keys and wallet in there on calls.

> 3 dayIve been using this a lot this summer. The only issue Ive had is the two openings/holes at the top of the bladder it came with have broken. It just means that I cant use the two velcro strips to hold the bladder upright in the compartment. This has not affected performance of the bladder or pack, however. Bladder isnt leaking and no straps are frayed or showing signs of wear, and Ive taken it on two camping trips, countless hikes and random day trips this hot summer with my kid so we have food and, more importantly, water. Price is unbeatable for the quality of the product. In the past I had used a pack and bladder half the size of this one, but I was doing long distance and trail runs. I wouldnt run with this pack, too big. But its great for hiking, camping and fishing. Can fit food, water, medical kit stuff in it without any problem.

> 3 dayThe bladder on this backpack makes your water taste awful like chemicals. If you plan on using the bladder, rinse it out a few times, soak it, and the next day remove the water, and hopefully it leaches out the chemical taste. The backpack itself is great, kept my water cold in the Arizona summer heat. Overall, satisfied with this purchase.

> 3 dayI was initially worried about the size of this backpack. I was heading out on a hiking trip to Montana and knew I would be doing long daily hikes carrying rain gear, layers, food, and water. This pack managed to hold everything I needed. I particularly like the insulated pocket for the water bladder. I slid my lunch in there and it kept everything cool. I am happy with the purchase!
