SHIMANO Cleats SPD-SL SM-SH10/SM-SH12

> 3 dayI tried cleats that looked identical but were made by a third party. I guess the dimensions were just a little off, but that made them very difficult to dismount the cleat from the pedal. These cleats from shimano were easier to dismount and feel like Im used to them feeling. Even though I paid a little more, theyre worth it- to avoid a potential safety issue from not being able to get your shoes off the pedals quick enough.

> 3 dayThese look like the real deal. Haven’t tried them yet, but do not anticipate any issues.

> 3 dayThe float takes a little bit to get used to, but that could be just me. It could be just because they are wider than the Peloton cleats, but somehow one of the corners is already chewed up. The float is a double edged sword; I like the amount of float, but sometimes it feels like I installed then wrong.

Vics notes
> 3 dayI purchased for the price, however, these cleats only lasted about 5 or 6 rides. Durability for road cycling is deplorable.

20-11-2024Great cleats. Solid. Amazing that the cleat is protected very well even without the covers. I still have my LOOK pedals/cleats for my other bike but the SPD-SL/M540 is a nice departure. Couldnt tell that the width was as pronounced in photos. Makes for a stable walking shoe.
