> 3 dayThis is not going to be a long review since this product is about as simple as a product can get. I was looking to buy a premium leather jacket and needed a way to measure myself so I could get a perfect fit. This product fit the bill. It was inexpensive and worked great for that task. I will throw it with my tools now and hopefully find another use for it.

> 3 dayWell, its a tape measure, has markings on it (inches and centimeters) and it is flexible. No surprises there. I unrolled mine and rolled it back up in reverse so the loose end would start at zero instead of 96, but I guess they had to package it that way to show the length. Long enough so if a really fat guy wants to know his pants size, you can help him out. More versatile than a yardstick except you cant balance it on your finger. A good gift for people who just have to know how big everything is.

> 3 dayWhy is it that you can never find a measuring tape when you need one? I end up using one of my metal measuring tapes out of the tool box unless of course, Ive misplaced those as well. I use these for multiple reasons such as measuring distances from my subjects to the camera, getting accurate dimmensions on a variety of small objects, mostly jewelry and other valuables. I also like that you can meaure in Millimeters on one side and inches the other. The tap is long (a very good thing) at 96 inches - I purchased a few and am quite happy with them - you will be too.

Greater than one weekI loved this tape it is nice to have the extra lenght as well.. I also see that it says that is fiber glass instead of Vinyl when you get the package.. but I have not had a problem with it.. I also accidently sniped in to the tape with my sissoirs when I was cutting tulle but it didnt tear and has not ripped any further then the tiny snip I made.. SO I think that it has done its job and will be pay for another one if needed in the future..

Greater than one weekOne of the other reviews stated that the band in the picture is a metal clip to keep the tape neatly folded. It is not a clip. It is a shiny piece of heavy paper. It looks nice, but it is meant to be discarded. The tape doesnt seem like cloth but it is as flexible as you would expect a cloth tape to be. It isnt stiff like cheaper tapes. It has inches printed on one side, centimeters printed on the other. The fact that it measures up to 96 inches rather than 60 is great considering much of the obese population of the US is pushing a 60 inch waistline now. My own is 64 inches, so the old standard of 60 just doesnt work anymore. I am losing weight and lately have been interested in tracking my progress. Before long I should be able to use a 60 inch tape, but it is nice to have one that will let me start where I am now, not where I would like to be in the future. When I am smaller, the great news is this tape will still work! Having centimeters is a benefit, since many things are more accurately sized in centimeters.
