> 24 hourBefore encountering this new SSD, I have been using the Samsung 970 EVO, which has given me sufficiently fast speeds. In need of more storage space, I browsed Amazon for an upgrade and decided to try out this new brand. While I have preferred Samsung products for the brand name’s reliability, it caught my attention that SK hynix is also a Korean firm that has uniquely applied the world’s first 128-layer NAND in its SSDs. The reviews, although not very many, sounded very positive on the SATA-based products.

> 24 hourI have not run any crystal mark benches on it, however the installation was very easy. I do wish that the item came with a screw that will help with installation. I was very happy to see that they used renewable resources for the packaging. Overall, highly recommend.

> 24 hourThe free cloning software worked better than the paid versions. The new SSD runs great.

> 24 hourI quadrupled my storage from the 500MB unit I started with. Tough install in my laptop, but thats not really the vendors fault. This runs much cooler than that stock unit and is just about as fast as advertised.

> 24 hourIt does as advertised. I mostly only keep basic programs on it like Steam, Origin, etc. and they boot decently fast but nothing extraordinary.

> 24 hourI used to use samsung drives, but after the company really did me wrong on 3 seperate occasions I decided never again will I use a samsung product. I have been using these ssds in both ssd and nvme m.2 models. these drives perform very well and seem to last a long time too. I have had 0 issues with these drives. I dont notice a difference between these and samsung drives. Great quality.
