> 3 dayI replaced my 500GB Samsung 970 EVO with this SK 1TB so I wouldnt feel cramped about playing fortnite. Im using a MSI X570 PRO-A Motherboard with this SK and it boots (my best guess) in abut 2 seconds after the MSI Post Logo goes dark. Wow! I liked the 970EVO but I like the SK more. And Today is December 19th. I ordered this at 10:0AM with the delivery promised as Before Christmas - well it showed up at the door at 4:00PM. Well done Amazon!

Greater than one weekA lot of people have never heard of SK Hynix, but believe it or not, they make a lot of the RAM and flash storage chips inside many different smartphones, including the RAM in the iPhone 11 and the flash storage of the Google Pixel 4.

Greater than one weekThe Gold P31 1TB NVMe caused a conflict with my laptop ACPI battery management. I have an LG Gram 17 (17Z90N) and after approx. 2 months I noticed that my battery charge status would not update. I contacted SK hynix for technical support and didnt even receive a response. I replaced the Gold P31 with a Samsung 970 EBO Plus which is working flawlessly. My 3 start rating for the P31 is base on the following:

> 3 dayIf you plan to expand or clone your current drive then you need buy or find a software that will clone your drive. The thing is Samsung comes with the software for free and it’s super easy to clone using the Samsung software. This ssd also runs extremely hot. I would recommend the Samsung one when it goes on sale.

> 3 dayThis was listed as high end in the LTT SSD tier list. I already bought this SSD knowing that I was going to love it. SK Hynix never disappoints. Theyve been making RAM and SSDs for the manufacturer market for a long time and now have started selling to the consumer market. Now, Im sticking with Samsung, SK Hynix, and Crucial/Micron for my SSD needs

Greater than one weekWhen I built my current system, I had to consider space a bit more with what I wanted to spend - so I ended up with a 250 Gb M.2 system drive. Ive added more - but when this came along, I decided to give it a try. I didnt replace my current drive, but added this to a PCIe adapter.

> 3 dayWhile theres a lot of things to like about this drive, Ill just focus on the two big ones -- this drive is not much more money than DRAM-less NVMe SSDs, but outperforms them dramatically. Thats true of a lot of higher-end drives, but the kicker was battery life. This drive added back close to half an hour of battery life (unscientific) compared to the Samsung Evo 970 I swapped out. If battery life is a problem and youre running a higher-end NVMe disk, I highly recommend trying this drive.

> 3 dayIf you are in the business of getting more storage or looking for an affordable m.2 drive. One that is extremely fast I recommend this one. Ive purchased this a couple of times for professional use and for personal use. It is a go-to. Its a solid state. The speeds are legit. And if youre one of the people that wanted to actually get a program and actually test the speed quality transfer rewrite go right ahead. The numbers are convincing. Incompatible with a lot of the other high-end companies that make this type of drive out there. Before a lot less money.
