> 3 dayI put this in a external SSD howsing and connected with USB 3. I discovered you cant update the Firmware if the SSD is external, the only way is to plug it into a mother board.

> 3 dayIf you have an Asus Q524U running the stock 2TB HDD, dont even hesitate to buy this. My boot time is less than 30 seconds (Win10) and that includes delays caused by a couple of a large add-ins that have to be loaded and configured to network at boot (i.e., app for networked multifunction Brother printer/copier/scanner).

It performs as well as top-of-the-line SSDs from other brands, yet the P31s price is akin to mainstream-level drives. It almost seems too good to be true.

> 3 dayCan’t say enough good things about HK hynix customer support. Very quick to reply to emails. I attempted to upgrade my 2014 Mac Mini (Late Model 2014) with this NVMe M.2 SSK. Even though the specifications was exactly what is called for my Mac Mini I could not get it to work. Even after formatting for APFS running Catalina OS the Mac would crash and not allow me to to anything including accessing Recovery or Target Disk modes on startup. However HK hynix customer support was OUTSTANDING and agreed to allow me to return the product for a full refund. I plan on doing business with HK again in the future. Thank You HK hynix customer service!

Not only does it run super-cool, its also very power efficient and on top of that it costs less then some of the other well known options. Cant beat the performance, price and heat dissipation of this thing! And not just at this price point, at any price point!
