> 3 dayReally liked these for a minute. The setup took a few tries, but they worked really well for about two months. Then, out of nowhere, they stopped working. They would work every 1/10 tries, and it seemed to be at random. Then it stopped altogether, and I can’t for the life of me get them to reconnect or reset. Do not buy these, buyer beware

> 3 dayBought these as they are rated fairly highly. After initial setup they worked for a few attempts. After a few hours both plugs are now unresponsive in the Apple Home app and the process to reset them is to delete everything and set it up again. They are still working in their own app, though. Definitely not an elegant Apple experience. Hopefully Matter support for smart home objects increases reliability in the whole niche. Would not recommend these smart plugs.

> 3 dayWe have these plugs connected to Apple HomeKit. Most of the time they work well. But on some sort of regular basis their status is “updating” and they won’t respond. Even when I have them connected to Wi-Fi and prevent the internet access so they are on the network but not online, they still do the same thing and just won’t respond. I have to unplug them so they reset (I guess)

> 3 dayDo not buy Meross or Refoss smart plugs. They go out right at a year. They’ll still power your device but the smart function will go out and no longer work. Mine went out 5 days after the warranty window closed and I’m no longer eligible to get a replacement.

Greater than one weekI bought 1 set 4 months ago. One quit operating in 12 hours. One in a couple weeks and the third in a month or so. Total waste of money. Don’t buy.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs worked without a problem when I controlled them from my ehomelife phone app. The main reason I bought these plugs was because according to the description I would be able to control them using Alexa. It was somewhat challenging to get Alexa to recognize the devices at first (I experienced several trial-and-error attempts); First I had to install the eHomeLife app on my phone and set up my eHomeLife account. Then I had to enable the eHomeLife skill in Alexa (make sure you remember your eHomeLife log-in information when you set up your eHomeLife account because you will need this info to enable the eHomeLife Alexa skill). Then after setting up each device in the eHomeLife mobile app I had to go into the Alexa app and add each device in Alexa. Although setting up these devices to work with Alexa was not the most seamless, user-friendly process, I suppose it was somewhat worth it, since the price of these plugs was decent. I would only get these if you have some tech know how and enough patience to take the time to set them up. If I knew then what I know now about how tricky these would be to set up, I probably would have bought a different brand with better user ratings - even if it meant spending a little more.

> 3 dayI was a little concerned at first because when my box arrived it was crushed. However, the plugs were not damaged. They worked fine. Very easy to set up through the app. Would buy again.
