Sony WH1000XM3 Noise Cancelling Headphones, Wireless Bluetooth Over the Ear Headset – Black (2018 Version)

It was great and it came in very good conditions.

A Christmas gift, that I had asked for. In less than 3 weeks . the microphone did not work. Sony was contacted and a replacement sent. This is a good set for listening but talking does not work well as people can not hear you. This is a known problem that I hope Sony fixs for new models.

These are easily the best pair of headphones Ive owned for both sound quality and noise isolation. We own several other pairs of Sennheiser and Audio-Technica headphones (as well as the Surface headset) and the WH1000XM3 easily beats them in sound quality. The only downside, they are not rough and tumble headphones. If you are rough and twist the headphones (as opposed to turning or sliding up/down) the slide-rail area can crack/break and eventually lead to a piece hanging. It doesnt seem to affect anything but its a bit of a visual blemish. I owned the headphones for about a year (including sleeping with them on) before one day I turned on my pillow and heard a crack. I cant really fault them for it though. They are still my go to headphones.

Bought used from Amazon. Product looks and acts like new. Noise cancellation is tops. Sound is pretty good. No problems pairing. App works. Solid product.

The headphones are extremely comfortable over the ear, the sound quality is excellent, the intuitive hand controls are amazingly responsive, and they connect to anything that even hints at being Bluetooth. Great pair of headphones at a great price! The product arrived as advertised and on time as well!

These headphones are amazing. Theyre comfortable, light, have great sound quality, and the noise cancelling is much better than competitors like Bose and Beats. Great pair of headphones worth the price.

So I bought these from BestBuy, as well as Bose QC20s, with the purpose of testing both to research what is truly the best noise-canceling device. I tested both side by side over multiple days. I wore both for up to 8 hours at a time to see which was more comfortable. I also tested the noise-canceling in a variety of settings (at the store, next to a fan, near by people talking, AC unit, a recording of dogs barking).
