Sony WH1000XM3 Noise Cancelling Headphones, Wireless Bluetooth Over the Ear Headset – Black (2018 Version)

These headphones were great, and i loved them to bits, until one day i started to hear white noise (or static) coming out of the right ear whenever Noise Cancelling was one, and since i bought them precisely to have Noise Cancelling on (noisy work environment) using them without NC was non negotiable.

Phones sound great and to me the noise canceling is awesome.

Noise canceling feature significantly cancels out sound. I wear them at the gym and I don’t have to listen to the music they blast. The sound quality is very good whether it’s spoken word (like podcasts) or music. There are a couple apps that help enhance their performance.

Received a steep discount for buying used, where the disclaimer said there was a small scratch on the product. True there was a barely noticeable scratch that wasnt a big deal. What they didnt say was that the headphones had several other problems.

When this is on your head you dont hear anything. My children scream all around me, my wife comes in and starts talking to me but I dont notice anything (much to her chagrin). The only, and I mean only, negative thing I can say is the bluetooth pairing is annoying. You have to turn off the headphones and then turn them on and continue holding the button for a few seconds every time you want to pair it with a different device. Other than that everything works fantastically.

If you like extreme bass while listening to music, then you might like these. However, if youre looking for headphones with extreme clarity to enjoy various types of music from classical to rock-n-roll, I suggest getting another type of headphones. Even after adjusting the EQ, I was not happy with the sound.

My rating is based on what I was looking for in a new pair of wireless over the ear noise cancelling headphones.

Holy moly, these are hands down the most comfortable headphones ever! I have no idea what the cushions are made of, but they are so comfortable. My ears never feel squished.
