> 3 dayIve had some cabinet locks like these that were a different brand and they were a real fiasco. Two or three of them failed on every motorhome trip. So far, after two lengthy trips, I havent had the same issues with this (Southco) brand, so am very happy about that. Southco brand is a little heavier and a little larger than the troublesome ones (a generic, no name brand) I had previously. Ill keep my fingers crossed, but so far, so good.

> 3 daythis is the ideal solution to cabinet doors in motor homes the originals are barely adequate but these hold tight and locate the door edge too so a lot of motion created by flexing is eliminated 10 lbs is a LOT more than the factory installed spring and roller arrangement great idea that works well with no sharp edges

Greater than one weekgood price and worked as a direct replacement for latches on my RV. Nothing wrong with the old ones, but I wanted to add some more to keep the wardrobe doors closed on rough roads.

> 3 dayMy motor home came with a bunch of these latches and many of them broke, upon close examination I found that they were in fact asian knock offs of this latch. I replaced them all with Southco and that solved all my problems. The knock offs look exactly like these but are made with a cheaper material, when I bench tested them they broke with much less force then these.

> 3 dayAs has been mentioned elsewhere, I purchased these as replacements for the factory Newmar latches in our 2017 Bay Star RV. Removal is two phillips screws, installation is the reverse of removal. Seems to retain the same latch retention pressure as the OE units, perhaps even to the point of these actually being the OE units. It seems these become a wear item after a handful of years of continued use, so getting a multi-pack of them stashed in our RV tool bay just makes sense.

> 3 dayI buy these latches for replacement on cabinet doors in our motorhome. Over time they do break and I have not been able to find them at a hardware store. They work great and keep cabinet doors closed as I travel down the highways.
