Ordered 2 to use as secure door closure for a residential refrigerator in a motorhome. installed in 10 minutes and work well even over rough Louisiana roads.

Replacement for broken latch on Damon Astoria sliding mirrored wardrobe doors. Fit good not exact replacement but super close. 10 # pull needed to hold the big doors closed.

Ive had some cabinet locks like these that were a different brand and they were a real fiasco. Two or three of them failed on every motorhome trip. So far, after two lengthy trips, I havent had the same issues with this (Southco) brand, so am very happy about that. Southco brand is a little heavier and a little larger than the troublesome ones (a generic, no name brand) I had previously. Ill keep my fingers crossed, but so far, so good.

Southco makes MANY catches for the RV industry. They work great, until they age out and crack due to age or are abused. The bad is they are COSTLY to replace given their size! BUT so is replacing stuff chucked out of your cabinets to the floor of your RV. Your originals will last, but order some now -- just like fuses -- before you need them. They are sold according to pull strength needed to open the clamp (3lb., 5lb., 10lb.).

Old one broke so this is a replacement.

Great product

The mounting holes are a little different than the original latches with the same number requiring new drill holes for mounting the new latches. Whyd they do that??
