    Greater than one week

I use this in conjunction with Klein Tools NCVT-2 current detector. I use the detector before I start to determine if its safe to proceed with work and this gadget both at the beginning (to make sure the outlet is properly wired to start, which I can then use as a reference when working with the wires) and then again after Ive completed the job and switched the power back on. Very easy to interpret the lighting indicators with statuses included right on the device. Only complain I have is the lights can be a little tough to see if youre working on a GFCI outdoors, in bright light. May need to cup your hand over the lights to see the status.

It is very difficult to distinguish between the white and yellow colors on the Status Indication Chart even in bright sunlight with a magnifier. The yellow color is too pale. I will return this device.

Its as good if not better than the higher priced testers. What makes it stand out is that it can be read wether the receptacle its plugged into is mounted ground up or ground down

doesnt say whats wrong when all of the lights go on at the same time. Not worth the trouble of returning.
