> 3 dayWorks Good. Notes dont say that the Test Button is for GFCI only, but it is. When Test is pressed, there is about a 20 kilo ohms resistances across the hot and ground prongs. At 120 volts that would draw about 0.006 amps or 6 mA. Which would be 0.72 Watts or 720 mW of power used. That wont trip a standard circuit breaker, but if Test Button was held for long periods of time on a standard breaker circuit, it could ruin the 20 kilo ohm resistor in the outlet tester.
