When my buyer clients have a home inspection and electrical work needs to be done, its great to be able to re-test for them so they know everything is safe for their family. Works as expected. Would recommend.

This device is not worthy of use. I threw it away after one use. It would get me in real trouble with the career I have. Terrible

I purchased this to diagnose some issues I’m having and decided to test this out in a regular receptacle. I have under cabinet receptacles and so I had it inserted upside down (depending on which side of the outlet you are on). Anyway, upon removing it, I hit the test gfci button by mistake, which sent power through the neutral. Well. Something broke. Not the breaker at the panel unfortunately.. So . Yeah. Don’t push the button if you’re testing a non-gfci receptacle .

    So easy to use.

Tried it on known good outlets just to test functionality. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Even on the same outlet. The G.F.C.I. Test button is very flimsy. Spring return on the button is very weak. Sometimes the button gets stuck down when it is pushed in. Sending it back. I’ll try a different brand.

The meaning of the led is right on the plugin you don’t have to look at a card or package.
