You just cant go wrong with this product. The lock mechanism hasnt failed me yet (after nearly a year of use), its been dropped from a height more times than I can remember, and yet it still works great. The tape comes back into the body every time without a problem. Its worth mentioning that its quite bulky and heavy but I like this - it just feels well made (and it is!). If you need a decent measuring tape, this is a good call. If, however, you dont quite need the 8m in length or require something you can carry in your pocket, you might want to go for something less bulky.

A quite large, very sturdy feeling, well built, heavy tape measure. Perfect for when you need to ascertain how far away two objects are, or indeed, where to place an object in relation to one, two or even three others. So far I have measured several different distances and have no reason to question its accuracy.

Feels sturdy believe it will last a long time if I dont lose it like my last one lost in my shed, cupboard etc who knows.

Quality tape measure with all the measurements - imperial and metric - easy to read. Its larger size and weight may make it harder to handle for some although I appreciate it needs to be this for length of tape and multiple measurements.

This has been a really useful and sturdy tape measure. We found it particularly useful when viewing many houses, where it was just right for measuring the sizes of rooms.

This tape measure is great and has helped a lot with measuring larger distances without having to overlap. The only word of caution I would add is that the return/rewind button is quite fierce and did frighten me a bit on first use. I now have to do the rewind in stages.

Seems fine. For a few pence more, a tie could have been added to hang it up.

Have tried a lot of the more expensive Stanley/Milwaukee etc. Keep going back to this. Best value for money tape out there
