STANLEY Tylon 8m/26ft Pocket Tape Yellow/Black, 0-30-656

Just what youd expect from a Stanley product. Really good solid tape.

Excellent tape measure. Having spent years with my cheap B&Q 5m measure, it gave up the ghost. Wish Itd failed sooner as this tape is excellent. Smooth action, extremely clear and legible and the tape is wider than my old one so will extend much further without bending.. I cant recommend highly enough.

Did not realise it would be so big and heavy. Its not something you would keep in your pocket. Perhaps it is an illustration of buying on line some thing which, if you had seen it and felt the weight you would have rejected for a less bulky one.

This is a good quality product and at a very good price

It may be Stanley but you can tell its ther budget range. Ive had cheaper and better tapes that are alot easier to read.

Great tape for the money but watch your fingers/ limbs on the retract, it’s vicious!

Excellent so far. I do regular work estimating carpet requirements in customers homes. So I need a tape measure that lays straight and can be securely locked. This is excellent; some other Stanley models are not as good as this one. Some tape measures dont lie straight and flat along the floor, and some do not have a locking device to keep them open and in place along the floor. With others, the lock slips so that the tape slowly rewinds along the floor - very irritating for me. I bought four of these and I shall be interested to see how long each one lasts. As they say, no one solution lasts for ever.

Excellent tape measure - reassuringly heavy/solid. Has lines and numbers on it, at a set distance apart, and the entire length of the tape. I found this useful for measuring things.

Always buy this type and you can wright on it too

Have found that my current 5m tape just doesnt quite do all the jobs needed of it so 8m seemed perfect. Strong clearly marked wider than usual tape and robust housing make this a good buy. My only reason for 4* is that the tape lock just doesnt feel quite strong enough. Happy with the buy though
