Whats to say, its a cable. This was exactly what I needed to connect my USB 3.0 ports on my new monitor to my Mac mini. The cable that came with the monitor was only 6 feet and not quite long enough. This works perfectly and was A FRACTION OF THE PRICE from what it would have cost at the local computer store.

Worked Great just made it easy to connect to more Computers without moving USB 3.0 Drive

Worked flawlessly to connect a laptop to a Plugable USB 3.0 docking station almost 10 feet away. I run dual 1920 x 1200 monitors plus the laptops display seamlessly, with no noticable delay.

This cable was meant for a traktor audio 6 sound card because the developer advised using 3.0 ports, so i assumed 3.0 cable would contribute to a performance gain. But no turns out usb B 2.0 and USB B 3.0 arent the same at all... how can they give this the label of being universally backward compatible? Really disappointed in the engineers behind this. That said starTech and Amazon were both great, Ive got lots of other cables from startech through amazon and theyre all functional, with appropriate price tags for the most part. Although there has been some big jumps, probably just have our Dollar to thank for that though

I have a whole bunch of things that I had to pull off a shelf and plug in every time I needed to use them. I ran this cable across my desk and up the wall to a usb3.0 hub I put on the shelf. 10ft was barely enough.

This cable is ideal when you are connecting two pieces of equipment, where one has a USB3 socket. I bought the 1 foot cables because the computer and the other item, a short wave radio, are in close proximity, and the 1 foot cable helps reduce cable clutter. It appears to be good quality with solid molded connectors, and it works as expected.
