Great cable to use to replace a lost USB 3 A to B cable. Nicely made!

The device came with a pretty long cable that I didnt need. This was much more suited to the application and hooked right up nice and seems like a quality product.

Works as expected

This USB 3 Type A to Type B cable works perfectly as far as I can see. I bought it to replace a shorter cable for an external hard drive. I replaced the cable and the external drive was recognised, it was as simple as that. I havent run a speed test but have done backups to the external drive since switching the cables and it seems to be the speed I would expect from USB3.

The cable construction construction and termination into the plugs appear good and both plugs fit well into their respective sockets. I use this as a feed to an Anker USB 3 hub

Bought to use with a Hornettek USB3 dual-disk enclosure (also from Amazon) which included only a very short USB3 lead. Works just fine (and its blue, like USB3). What else is there to say?

I bought this to connect a HP laptop to a Targus docking station on the opposite end of my desk. I had first tried a Cable Matters USB 3.0 6ft cable but that did not work at all, so I returned that one. The StarTech cable worked the first time, right out of the bag that it came in. I am very pleased with it.
