Does what it should to connect laptop to monitor

I purchased a second hand docking station for my laptop and it needed one of these. It came in fast and works as expected, all functions of the docking station/laptop interface work correctly. Only time will tell about durability but the cable looks to be of good quality.

Seems good. Ive bought these 1ft with the mini connector and one went bad. BUT Ive had plenty of cables go bad over the years so cables will be cables. Always have a few extras on hand. I use these with my Lexar Pro Tower CF SD etc card readers. Far more solid than mini connectors!!

This cable was meant for a traktor audio 6 sound card because the developer advised using 3.0 ports, so i assumed 3.0 cable would contribute to a performance gain. But no turns out usb B 2.0 and USB B 3.0 arent the same at all... how can they give this the label of being universally backward compatible? Really disappointed in the engineers behind this. That said starTech and Amazon were both great, Ive got lots of other cables from startech through amazon and theyre all functional, with appropriate price tags for the most part. Although there has been some big jumps, probably just have our Dollar to thank for that though

This is a good cable. The quality of the plastic sleeving on the cable is excellent and when the USB squarer plug is connected its a nice firm fit. On reflection I probably should have ordered a longer cable — but thats entirely my fault and nothing to do with the quality, or recommending of the product. Very good!

Perhaps a bit longer than I really need but gives me freedom to place the USB3 hub further from the PC. I particulalry like the blue colour so I can differentiate from other cables.
