I absolutely adore this mouse. I was skeptical about the triggers based on the screenshots, but they feel really nice. The sensor feels amazing and this is coming from a Razer Deathadder 2014 edition. The mouse is very light as well. I play all types of games with this mouse, but this mouse would definitely be most suited for first person shooters. The shape is very nice. One thing that could turn people off is the material of the device. To keep the device so light, Steelseries had to use a mostly plastic construction. As a result, this thing feels cheaply built. The plastic does feel nice though, its smooth on the top and has grippy rubber pads on the sides. It does not come with a gold plated USB unfortunately. While it doesnt do much, it does allow the port to last longer through multiple insertions since gold is malleable. The cable is also a light, thin non-braided cable. Its very weightless and it might not be for everyone, but I do not mind. Steelseries Engine seems to be decent software, you can adjust many settings for the mouse.

I love this mouse. The shape is very ergonomically friendly and comfortable. The RGB works well and can even be saved on the mouse. This means you can uninstall the software after finding your optimal settings and it will still retain them. This is a rarity these days. I was using a logitech g502 but I tired of the shape and weight of it. It was too heavy and the left click additional buttons were quite easy to press accidentally. I decided to go back to a mouse with only the two side buttons and I made a good choice on the mouse. Now, lets talk about the sensor. This sensor makes it feel like you are in direct control of the movement. It truly is as close to 1:1 as you can get. The logitech sensor is very good but it has nothing on this one. If you are using a 100+ hz monitor, it is very apparent how accurate this mouse truly is. I cant comment on the durability. I have only owned the mouse roughly a month but I feel that it is built very solid and will last for years to come. I highly recommend this mouse for gaming and even productivity use.

I had an older model Sensei mouse for around 3 years that worked really well. The only reason I ditched it was because the middle mouse button had a hard time registering when it was held down, and I couldnt work with that in certain games. So when I found out there was a much newer version, I immediately got this. Its even better with the rubber grips and the same comfortable form that I liked with the old one. The four, low profile buttons on the sides are very useful without being too much. Its hard to accidentally click the wrong one, as is the case with most other gaming mice with additional buttons. I always hated ergonomic mice, I found them uncomfortable, and the uniformity of both sides would make this a great mouse for someone who is left handed. Its highly sensitive, highly adjustable, and overall good quality. This thing works far better and is way more comfortable than any Razer mouse Ive seen, which tend to be twice as expensive.

Love it for all PC needs; previously used a popular performance mouse from a different well known company which had shoddy construction and unreliable software. This product won me over to now being a very loyal SteelSeries customer. Ive had it over a year and it has not disappointed, the feel is great, the software is excellent and reliable. Absolutely love this mouse, and the SteelSeries QcK mousepads to go with it. If you build quality, reliable products with good construction, you will create loyal customers. SteelSeries did a great job.

I have had this mouse for three months now. I have not had any issues at all with it. I play on 800 dpi normally and 600 for sniping. I can use the software to set it so that I only have those two settings to switch between. Very convenient. I find it to be a very precise mouse with a weight that I am comfortable with. Might be a bit heavy for some people though. I have xl-2xl size hands depending on the glove, so pretty much every mouse is too small for my had. But this is at least wide enough to be comfortable. My middle finger is about an inch past the front of the mouse though lol I am using a steel series QcK medium mouse pad which is another good value.

The slightest microscopic piece of dust will throw the cursor out of wack on these. I have both this one and the sensei 310. Same sensor, same behavior. Not really a problem I guess. Just have to make sure your mouse mat is like laboratory clean room free of particles. Other mice Ive tried dont exhibit this behavior. The buttons are all excellent. No accidental clicks. Ive found over time that what really matters is the shape, size and buttons. I have another mouse where I love the shape, but the right click button is mush. Breath on it and it activates. Constant accidental clicks. All the sensors are good these days. No need to buy in to any hype on one particular sensor. This shape wasnt quite for me. I use a really light claw grip. This mouse would be better for palmers. (learning experience) I think people with that type of grip might love this thing. Ill find the perfect one sooner or later..

    Greater than one week

I have been using this mouse for about a year, Ill say that its a solid mouse for the most part. There have been no issues with tracking and the buttons feel responsive; the hardware seems good for the most part. The lighting is vibrant in color and bright, if you care about that stuff. Its shape is a little awkward on the right side and it took some adjustment to get a comfortable grip on it, but that will probably differ case by case. I dont, however, feel comfortable recommending it due to a couple nagging quality issues. Maybe I just got unlucky with mine, but Ive also used a Rival 100 and that mouse didnt last longer than a year. I dont beat my mice up or swing them over my head by the cord so Im starting to think Steel Series just doesnt make hardware that lasts. My particular issues were: 1) Upon first picking up the mouse the left mouse click seemed slightly looser than the right; didnt think too much of it but later on the mouse developed an issue with double clicking on a single button press. It doesnt seem like a driver issue, and I have no idea if its related to the loose nature of the button, but it seems like an issue with the button hardware. 2) One of the grippy side pads was glued poorly. It shifted a lot within the first couple months and eventually lost its bond with the mouse plastic. I dont know what kind of glue is used to attach the two but its a perpetual wet, sticky mess. The glue gunk gets pushed out of the cavity by the shifting of the pad and gums up the bottom of the mouse and my hand. In the end the pad just refused to stay in place so I removed it and wiped off all the glue. To the mouses credit it isnt that uncomfortable to hold without the grip. I think I will avoid mice with this sort of silicone padding in the future - it doesnt offer that much comfort and in this case its just a hassle.

Have had it for three years and has been a really good mouse! Still going strong

This is the best mouse Ive found for large (XL to 2XL) hands. The reason for not receiving 5 stars is the cord comes highly folded in the box causing continuous knotting during use.

Initial impressions: GREAT mouse! I use it daily for work and gaming. When searching for a mouse I have several criteria: -It must be ambidextrous (Im left-handed). -It must have several programable buttons on the sides. -It cant have the gamer aesthetic. -It must be less than $100. This mouse met all of those criteria in spades. I really appreciate the simplicity of the design, and its very comfortable to use. Its half as much as my budget allows. And best of all? Its AMBIDEXTROUS. Do you know how hard it is for left-handed people to find a good gaming mouse with actual buttons on the side? Nearly impossible, 90% of the market is catered to right-handers - understandably so! There are literally dozens of us. This was a VERY good mouse for a couple of years. Three years on however and there are two issues I have: -First, the slightly rubberized coating is wearing off on the buttons. Fortunately its not really sticky, but its still kinda gross and I do wish it was a simple plastic coating. It can feel gross after a little while (of course it doesnt help that my hands can get a little sweaty). -Second, over the past couple of weeks Ive noticed the scroll wheel going bad. The physical action isnt bad, but the actual scrolling isnt registering properly. If I scroll down at any speed the mouse translates that to a very jittery up-and-down motion, I have to scroll several times to get where Im going. I suppose in the grand scheme of things a $50 mouse being used daily for three years isnt so bad. And Im not sure how long a mouse is expected to last either. I dont know these mice are sold today, but if they are and you need one with the criteria I listed, I think this one is a good buy. Just be aware that it may only last a few years.
