> 3 dayUnable to rate as this was a gift to someone else and I have no idea how they worked out. All I can say is that this game was on their wish list.

> 3 dayThis is a great expansion. The new cards are really interesting and add a new element to the game with double space cards, new end of round points, among others. Really recommend.

> 3 dayHonestly, this release should of been a marketed as a stand-alone expansion that can support play for 2 players with the option of mixing the expansion with the core-set for 3 or more players. For the budget gamer, this expansion is well balanced when played by itself via 2 player stand-alone game. This is ideal if you are experienced in “Wingspan-ology“ and don’t want the unnecessary bulk of the core game or want a smaller 2 player variant of Wingspan. From my experience, everyone and their extended family owns a copy of Wingspan. If you own core set: Add the dice, boards, and cubes. Skip the player marker. I honestly never use it. Play as usual per 2 player game. If you don’t own the core set: Take two each of the food tokens & grab an old dice bag/place the tokens in the bag. Draw 5 tokens from bag to form the bird feeder, play tokens as if they were dice by drawing from bag at random when needed. Add a few sticky notes for turn tally and score keeping. Keep mental note of board grid as you play your cards from your hand onto table. Play as usual with core set rules per 2 player game. Note: this shouldn’t be too difficult for experienced wingspan players. The new card functions are balanced and work very well with each other when played with just the expansion set. I haven’t played the expansion cards with the core set yet. High quality on box contents. This expansion is simply beautiful. I recommend this expansion to other players that enjoy the core set. Update 12/13/19: I’ve played with expansion with core set. I am not pleased with the volume of the draw deck when mixed with core set. Thus painfully diluting the interactions with the European Expansion set of cards. With 3 games played, I only got a total of 5 expansion birds into play. Maybe mix 1/2 of the core set draw cards with contents of expansion in order to get more expansion out into play. I know other card games on the market suffer from excessive cards with continuous expansions. Honestly, I prefer playing this expansion with just 2 players without core set mixed in.

> 3 dayThis is the European expansion to Wingspan, (the original game just contains North American birds) which my husband and I received for Christmas. My husband is English, and so its great to have both, as we visit the UK all the time and enjoy looking for different types of bird. The game and expansion are beautifully illustrated, and we found it remarkably quick to understand. There are only 4 different action types you can take, but there are several types of card, so the game is relatively easy to learn, but stays interesting. Weve played ourselves a few times, and had a game with 3 friends as well, and everyone enjoyed it. There are wonderful bonus cards to help you get more points at the end, and those cards have percentages listed at the bottom, to show you what percentage of birds in the deck meet the bonus card criterion. What really impressed me is that when the creators made the expansion, they built it in such a way that the percentages at the bottom of the original games bonus cards remain accurate! Very well designed. Highly recommend this game!

> 3 dayThe game, its artwork, and value are all easily 5 stars. However, Amazon screwed this one up! The game was NOT shrinkwrapped. Instead, the warehouse sticker was placed directly on the beautiful gamebox. Even more distressing, there is a deep cut that runs across most of the artwork. True, the components are still fine. However, I was shocked to find the game box nearly open inside the Amazon shipping box along with the damage.
