I used this with markers and had fun with the colors. The card is thick with good envelopes. For the price, no problems.

This is my favorite thing to paint with watercolors. I use these all the time and LOVE that theyre little post cards. The only downside is I go through 15 pretty quick but other than that I loveee these

First off, I wasnt aware that blank postcards were sold. I took a watercolor postcard class that offered different designs. These cards hold the paints beautifully without buckling, which I often find with watercolor paper products. In addition, they are a great value for the price. My postcards came out so pretty that I dont want to give them away!

These cards are perfect for watercolor paints. I’d purchase these again! They absorb a lot of water and can become a bit distorted/warped, but if you love that card in its envelope for a few days, they straighten out well. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

I’m not sure why but I assumed these cards would be smooth. This was likely my mistake (not fully reading the description). Since they are heavily textured they are not ideal for drawing. I also was not a fan of the torn edge on one side. That being said, I made them work but I probably wouldn’t purchase them again.

We got these for wedding thank yous. We affixed a wedding photo to the front to personalize and it looked nice. Card weight is excellent and the texture looks nice (although is a bit harder to write on with a normal pen, and took a little bit of coaxing for the photo stickers to affix). Its a snug fit into the envelopes, but we sent some cards with six or so additional photos with no problems (although increased postage). A postman did comment that there was a bit of a gap between where it seals on the back of the envelope and the crease (ie you can kind of stick your finger in the gap) but so far nobody has received a damaged letter so its probably fine. All in all, some minor quibbles but this is a great price for thick cardstock so I cant really complain!

Watercolors, even very wet washes, work very well on them. Not as good quality as my Arches watercolor paper, but not bad. They will accept some scrubbing, but fibers lift and make lifted passages look a bit muddy. However, if you get in and get out without to much overworking, theyre fine. The 100% rag, cold pressed surface is nice to work on, and having them all cut and scored for folding is really handy.
